Grayson leans his forehead against yours as you both stand there in the gleaming sliver of light. Even though you are in a hospital room, it's picturesque. Your moments may not be perfect from an outsiders point of view but they're perfect to you. Your hands are intertwined in his and you need nothing more than just this. Just Grayson. Just being with him and having moments like these. You cherish these simple nothing's more than anything. Grayson and you sit on that little cot and eat the donuts. You talk and laugh and it's almost like last night didn't happen. But you know it did, and you hope you didn't hurt him. After what seems like ages, Sarah finally wakes up. Surprisingly enough she's still tired after all that sleep. You know the accident and surgery took a lot out of her. "Y/n, you stayed all night? Thank you so much." "It was no problem at all" you tell her. "Now I'm telling you as your older sister to go home and get some rest." "Sarah I can stay it's fine." "No y/n I'm okay you need to go home now" she says with a smile. "Okay okay fine I will." You oblige by Sarah's commands begrudgingly and you and Grayson walk out to the car. When you get to the car Grayson stops and pushes you up against it. You're pinned up against the car as he kisses you long and hard. "I'd been waiting to do that for a while." You stare into his eyes and then kiss him back. It was full of more passion than you realized you had inside you. But you love this new sense of yourself. And you love that Grayson is the one to receive it. Eventually you both get into the car and drive off. You roll the windows down and let the air tussle your hair. Grayson turns up the music and you feel cheerful and content. It was a good feeling, and you really hope it lasts.
