Fated Lovers of Magic: Book 1

Fated beginning

After the Headmaster gave the instructions everybody cheered. It is evident in each other's expressions of excitement, fear, and doubt, but they are all excited to know which house they will belong to.

For Earth, he still couldn't believe what he was hearing and seeing. A part of him still thinks that he is dreaming and he will eventually wake up and come to the realization that everything was just an illusion.

A loud cheer was heard and this brought his attention back to the event that is happening. He looked at the crowd to see what got the people excited about and he saw a guy approach the bowl and placed his hand inside of it, anticipation was written on his face as he waited to receive his pouch. Not even a minute passed and everybody saw the bowl glow and the next second they saw the guy holding something.

The first person who braved and lead the group of freshmen raised his hand with the pouch feeling proud and screamed. He showed everyone as the first person who was chosen by the house.

Right after he screamed a pillar of light appeared above the fishbowl then a picture was shown. He looked back and saw a giant wolf and somehow it gave him courage. Someone spoke from the stadium.

"Amarok," said the bearded red cloak Vice leader.

Everyone went silent and stared at the vice leader. As if on cue the vice leader stepped forward.

"After you receive the pouch of your house, a pillar of the screen will be shown just like what you saw" he explained with a pause,

"The picture that you saw is the Sigil of the House you will belong to. He now belongs to the House Amarok. To become a full fledge House member, you first need to be assessed and then will be given a blessing,"

"There are different kinds and stages of blessings, what we can tell you now are the different stages. The first stage is when you are recognized by a certain house. The second is when you are accepted. Last is when you take the oath,"

"The selection of houses is the first stage and it comes with a blessing, each individual will receive different blessings, some may have the same and some are unique. Most blessings are related to the houses they belong to."

"I am your Vice leader Adam Arms and is the House Amarok Master. There are 4 kinds of Houses and all the Vice leaders in front of you are the Masters." he ended his speech and went back to his previous spot with anticipation.

Unbeknown to the students, the Vice masters are also excited it's just not shown. The number of new recruits to the respective houses shows the power and the future development. They made a bet about who will receive the most recruits and the least recruits.

Hearing the explanation from Vice-captain Adam enlightened the freshmen and made them more excited. Just like a domino effect, one after another students approached the fishbowl and made a beeline.

After the first student, the succeeding ones are of the house Amarok. House Amarok obtained five consecutive members and for the sixth student a new Sigil appeared and what they saw is a skeletal Ghost whale. Once again the students looked at the vice leaders and made some guesses about whose Master represented this sigil.

The person who stepped forward is the woman who is wearing a red slit tight dress. She seductively walked in front of the stage wearing a mischievous smile.

"I am Alexa Monroe house master of Bake-kujira home for the witches and warlocks, bringer of Curse. My dear Old man Adam forgot to mention that each house has a different meaning to its sigils. For the witches and warlocks, our sigil will forever be etched in our bodies and soul. You will carry the next generation of leaders." Vice leader Alexa introduces the first recruit and went back beside the other masters.
