Angel was invited over for dinner for the first time a few days later, with Aki having bought too many ingredients for the amount of food he usually made. Angel was very nervous about doing this, considering that Power and Denji exist. However, free food was free food. So, in the end, he accepted the proposition with little struggle.

After making sure he didn't look too much like he just rolled out of bed, (he had just woken up from a nice nap) Angel left his apartment, locking the door behind himself. He carefully knocked on the neighbor's door and was immediately greeted by a blond teen with pointy teeth. The boy's eyes raked up and down him.

"Whoa, Aki, you didn't tell me you were inviting over a babe!" Denji called back into the apartment.

"Denji, he's a man," Angel could hear Aki call back from somewhere in the kitchen.

Denji's eyes widened and he looked between Angel and the kitchen several times before yelling, "What the fuck, man?!"

Denji ran back in, leaving the door open. Angel figured that he was supposed to enter, so he did just that, closing the door behind him and locking it. He removed his shoes, listening to Denji yelling at Aki, and Aki calmly replying. Denji apparently couldn't believe that a man like Angel could exist, and was having a really hard time understanding. It made Angel's lips twitch upwards; it was kind of funny.

Angel walked cautiously into the kitchen, and Aki greeted him with a head nod. "Hey, Akuma."

"Hayakawa," Angel greeted him in response.

"Hey, are you really a guy?" Denji questioned, looking at him.

Angel raised an eyebrow and grabbed at his pants, pretending like he was about to pull them down. "Need to see my dick?"

"Nobody is seeing anybody's dick," Aki said firmly. "Denji, go wake up your sister and tell her that dinner's ready."

"You want me dead!" Denji exclaimed, eyes wide. "You seriously want me dead!"

Aki rolled his eyes. "Just make sure to say that food is ready, and she won't kill you."

Denji groaned and walked down the hallway to their shared bedroom, opening the door. Angel watched, surprisingly not annoyed by Denji, but rather entertained. Angel had forgotten what it was like to be surrounded by people who cared for each other, and as much as he had an irritated look on his face, Aki's eyes glimmered with love as well. These people were not a traditional family, but they were family all the same.

"Where's the food?!" a girl screamed, tearing out of the bedroom. "I could eat twice as much as Denji!"

"No, you couldn't!" Denji complained. "I can easily eat three times as much as Powy!"

"Oh yeah?! Four times as much as Denji!"

"Shut up and sit down at the table," Aki said, pulling down several bowls from a cupboard. "Akuma, do you mind placing these? I've got everything else."

Angel took the bowls without a word, bringing them over to the table. He placed them down carefully, trying not to interrupt whatever Power was showing Denji on her phone. However, at one point, she seemed to realize that Angel was there, and she looked at him with confusion.

"Who the fuck're you?" she asked.

"Akuma Angel," he replied, sitting down at the small, traditional four-person table.

"What are you doing in my house?! Don't tell me... oh my god, did Topknot actually manage to pull a girl?!" she shrieked.

"He's a boy, Power! Duh!" Denji exclaimed, as though he hadn't just barely thought Angel was a girl.
