Anya storms in the tent directly at Costia who quickly got into battle position. Lexa got furious, grabbed Costia's arm and jumped in front of her screaming "ANYA STOP!!". Anya got closer and Lexa had no choice, she pushed costia back on her bed and kicked Anya in her stomach. Lexa grabbed Anya's arm as she fell on the floor twisting it placing her boot against her throat.

"Anya what the hell were you thinking" Anya laid on the floor staring in Lexa's eyes.

"I thought love made you weak and it does. but I can also see that when it comes to Costia you are at your best, and you just confirmed my thoughts. look what you did, this is the first time you got me on the ground, but it isn't always about protecting costia, Lexa. it's about protecting your people. Costia makes you weak, venerable, you can't afford that in a battle " Anya said

Lexa loosened her grip "i see" she said and let go of Anya walking out of her tent.

"Lexa wait" costia yelled after her but Lexa didn't hear her. "remind me again, why did I let you talk me into this?" Costia stood up from the bed and walked passed Anya who was now sitting in a chair.

"cause we both know you're no good to Lexa!" Anya said and stood up walking out of the tent.

Costia pressed her lips together tightly and closed her eyes. she had to do it. she had to let Lexa realize they can't be together, for their people. but all the things costia said to her were true. she wanted Lexa, she loved Lexa! but she also knew that she made Lexa weak.

I can't believe she'd do this to me, work together with Anya to show me that she makes me weak. she doesn't make me weak. she simply makes me feel things. she makes me feel good, loved. she makes me feel human!

Lexa got snapped out of her thoughts by a twig breaking behind her. she turned around and grabbed for her sword when she noticed it wasn't there. shit! she lowered her body and grabbed for her dagger. great, not there either. Lexa heard footsteps coming her way and grabbed the closest stick she could find to pierce it through the persons heart who was trying to attack her.

"Lexa? are you here? ... I'm sorry! I shouldn't have done that"

"go away Costia, you and Anya made your point, all the things you said were just put there by Anya, to catch me off guard so she could attack me" Lexa turned around and started walking again.

"No Lexa wait, that's not true! please let me explain?!" costia ran after Lexa and grabbed her hand "please?"

Lexa looked at their hands and stopped. "speak"

"Anya just wanted me to go in your tent and talk to you about random stuff. she didn't put any words in my mouth. she just said that if you'd be able to fight her and act within seconds she'd know that you love me and that you'd do anything for me and-" costia got cut off.

"and the kiss?" Lexa looked in costia's eyes searching for, something, anything.

"that was you remember" costia gave her a weak smile

"yeah I know that costia but just answer the question. if Anya didn't put any words in your mouth. did you mean them or was it just to throw me even more off guard. and the kiss, what? you thought by yourself lets just get into it so Lexa will-"

Costia shut her up by smashing her mouth onto Lexa's. It surprised Lexa for a second but then melted by her touch. Costia pulled her closer and licked Lexa's bottom lip asking for entrance. Lexa opened her mouth to let their tongues wrestle with each other. Costia pulled away slowly locking eyes with Lexa.

"does this answer your question?" costia said, a smile appeared on her lips. "I want you Lexa, not a single word that came out of my mouth was a lie" costia slowly pushed Lexa against a tree "I'm in love with you Lexa, I wanna be with you! I don't care what Anya thinks about love! I've seen what you can do Lexa. Love drives you! Love makes you do incredible things. it makes you....you! sweet, loving, caring. You are an amazing person Lexa and I want to be with you, forever!"

Lexa smiled and pulled Costia's body against her own "I want to be with you too Costia, forever!"

they stared into each other's eyes for a while and then slowly leaned in, bringing their lips just inches apart. they locked eyes for a second and rested their foreheads against each other, rubbing noses.

"forever!" Lexa said

"forever!" Costia repeated and kissed her softly.

short chapter but I'm currently working on TWO one shots ^^ both modern day clexa ones, I hope you like them! hope to get at least one of them done by tomorrow so stay tuned!!
