"who's that?" Clarke asks as she walks through the hallways of her new school. a tall girl with long half up half down hair stands in front of her locker stuffing books in her bag. she's wearing a black skinny jeans and an oversized arctic monkeys shirt. Clarke think she's stunning.

"that's Lexa woods, better not get involve with that one, she's... bad news!" Octavia says while dragging Clarke away by her arm. "stop staring princess!"

"I wasn't staring!!" Clarke objects and follows her campus buddy to class.

"this is you" Octavia points to a door to their left. "you have... let me check" she pulls a piece of paper out of her pocket and reads the scribbles on it. "history with miss Anya. she's cool, just don't get on her nerves! have fun"

"thanks O!" Clarke gives a small smile and throws a wave at Octavia before taking a deep breath and walking into the class.

a beautiful woman sits behind her desk reading some material. her hair is up in a high ponytail and reading glasses rest softly on her nose. the class is empty and Anya hasn't seem to notice Clarke walked in. just as Clarke is about to announce her presence the bell rings and the class fills itself with kids. not caring Clarke is in the room the stampede of students push her to the side. after everyone has settled in, she walks up to her teacher and scrapes her throat. Anya looks up and takes off her glasses giving Clarke a "what do you want look"

"uh.. I'm Clarke, Clarke griffin.. I'm the new student!" Clarke says nervously trying not to look directly into Anya's piercing eyes.

"right, yeah, the art student!" anya puts her glasses down on her desk and stands up. as soon as she does the room turns quiet and all eyes are on them.

"class, this is.." Anya look at Clarke and raises her eyebrow

"Clarke" she says softly

"this is Clarke and she's our new student" Anya scans the room and her eyes rest on her favorite student. "Lexa why don't you make sure Clarke gets the right notes from what she has missed" with that she turns to Clarke "you can have a seat next to Lexa, over there"

Clarke nods and walks up to Lexa. "hi, I'm Clarke"

"hello" Lexa says and offers Clarke a smile

"well will you look at that, the commander can smile"

Lexa turns towards the person speaking up and slaps the back of their head "mind your own business Reyes!"

the girl offered her hand to Clarke and she takes it "Raven Reyes" she introduces herself with a big smile  and while turning back around she strongly glares at Lexa

"if you girls are ready id like to begin!" Anya doesn't wait for an answer and starts her lecture about clan history.

as the Bell rings Clarke stands up and thanks Lexa for the notes. just like the past hour Lexa doesn't say anything and just nods.

"well okay then, I'll see you around!" Clarke walks towards the cafeteria when suddenly someone holds the door open for her. Clarke walks past them "thank you Lexa!" Lexa nods again and then walks over to her table.

Clarke catches Octavia's eyes and walks over after a ridiculous wave. after Clarke sits down Octavia introduces her to her friends.

"guys this is Clarke! Clarke these are my friends! this is Bellamy, my brother, Gina his girlfriend. that's monty, jasper, and miller"
