"Yoo," I walk into my OG's room wondering why she called me down.

"Hey son."

"Wassup Ma," I smile, still confused as hell by this whole encounter.

"I just ain't seen much of you lately I had to check on my baby."

"Oh I been ight," I say flatly.

I really haven't...

"Where that pretty girl at? I ain't seen her since that day," my mama pries just like I knew she would.

"Ma..." I sigh lightly.

"You don't have to talk about it. I wasn't trying to be in your business—"

"Nah ma you good," I take a deep breath, cutting her off. "I like that lil girl and you know I don't do the being tied down and relationships and stuff so I kind of distanced myself. She just got cheated on and I'm not gone lie if I hurt her that would hurt me."

"Aww son," OG swats her hand around. "Stop being a bitch."

"A what?!"

"A bitch, you heard me," she folds her arms now and I sit up to listen. "You said it yourself you like her so fuck all the other shit. Stop thinking about it so much, you don't want to hurt her so don't."

"It's not that easy," I shake my head. "You know how I am, I know how I am. I don't think I can do it, as much as I want to I juss can't because i'm already knowing the outcome to this, ya feel me?"

"No I don't," she laughs lightly. "What I always told you when you use to tell me you can't do some?"

"Won't know until you do it," I recite the too familiar saying.

"Exactly."

Damn.

She right.

"But she might not even talk to me. I low key ghosted the girl for two weeks," I sigh, regretting my decision.

"You got your dimples from me not yo ugly ass daddy so just see. She beautiful Dee, seem like a real nice young lady.."

"She is," I smirk a little, reminiscing on every moment she's been in my presence. "She got a personality outta this world and I fuck with that."

"Good. I'm bout ready for some grandkids," she smiles, playfully hitting my arm.

"Nah," I IMMEDIATELY shake my head, climbing out the bed, heading for the door. "Get somebody else to do it."

"Boy," my OG cackles.

"I'm sliding to this party tonight, don't be up when me and gang come back. I love you," I say before shutting the door, hearing a I love you more as the door shuts.
