Bizarre circumstances

New member of the family

"Aww you look so cute in that bandana!"

"Oh shut up!"

After he's finished Okuyasu goes ahead and leaves but you stay behind for Josuke.

"Y'know, just clean faster."

"It's not that easy!"

"Yes it is!" Tonio steps in.

"I think I will take over now, you've learned your lesson." He just smiles but I think he just actually wanted you both to leave.

"Bye! Thank you Tonio!"

You and Josuke keep walking until you hear a peculiar noise.

"Merrow...." It comes from behind a tall grave stone.

"Gah! I knew it! There's a ghost!" Josuke clings to you as he freaks out at the noise, you just huff.

"Josuke, it's not a ghost." Gently pushing him off and grabbing his hand you move towards the grave stone.

"What are you doing?! No way am I investigating! That's how people die!" He starts digging his feet into the ground and pulling you.

"Josuke! Don't be a wimp!" You start pulling back, digging your feet into the ground attempting to stop him.

You're both tugging between each other until something rubs against your leg.

You're surprised but looking down you see a little cat, a couple month to a year old. It's small as if it were still a kitten, it's cute but has the look of fear in its eyes.

"Merrow..."

"Awwww!" You immediately let go causing Josuke to fall over. 

"Ow!" Leaning down you look at the little cat, it's eyes are filled with curiosity. When you try to reach him, he flinches away.

"Oh dear, it's probably a feral cat."

"Eh, let's just leave him then. I'm sure it'll be fine." He gets up patting off his pants and grabs your bag.

"C'mon let's go."

"But... " You keep looking back at the cat, its eyes are pleading. Bearing into your soul.

"Merrow..." Its meow is high pitched, reaching into your heart and squeezing it.

"I can't! It's too cute! And he's all alone!"

"Yeah, well you said it yourself, it's feral. So, let's go."

With your bags in hand, he grabs your arm and keeps moving. You keep moving with a frown. Later while walking you still can't get the image of the cat out of your head. Josuke just huffs.

"Look... I'm sorry for dragging you away. It was cute but you can't be getting attached. Y'know?" Sighing you respond.

"Yeah, I know. I just have a weak spot for them."

"Hey maybe Tonio will find it and feed him!" Josuke tries to cheer you up.

"Maybe, it seemed so small." You both keep walking continuing to talk about school or other subjects when a noise catches your attention.

"Merrow..."

"C-Could it be?!" You turn around to see the same little cat had followed you.

"What?! He followed you!" Josuke looks behind him surprised.

"Aw! I knew it! I'm a cat god!" You walk over to the cat but he flinches again slightly. You put your hands and up get down to his level, slowly reach one hand out. He sniffs it and allows you to tap the top of his head and scratch his neck.

"Awwww, see Josuke, he's a good cat."

"Tch. Fine! Just take him home already!"

"Well as you say, greato!"

"You gotta say it with more force, Greato!"

"Greato!" You pick up the cat and start walking to the bus stop with Josuke. Smiling and talking to each other along the way.

After school reaching Josukes house you wave good-bye and keep walking. Walking to the central for a cab you happen to bump into a stranger.

"Oh, excuse me!"

"Oh it's quite alright, miss y/n." You stop. He knows your name? Looking up you see the same blond stranger from St. Gentlemen's.

"Oh, it's you again!"

"Hm, yes what a pleasure to meet you again..." He keeps staring at your hands.

"Right... Well, I gotta go get a cab."

"Oh why don't I drive you?" You stop, something just doesn't feel right.

"Drive, me?"

"Yes, I don't see too much of an issue." He smiles, it's supposed to be reassuring but it ends up being unsettling.

"Well-"

"Merrow...." The cat comes up and rubs at your legs. The man leers at its dirty coat. The man then checks his watch and sighs.

"Well, I suppose you must be getting home. I must go now, good bye miss y/n" He says it in quite a curt manner.

"Good-bye." You quickly grab a cab in order to get back to the hotel. Giving the cat a bath. A knock appears at the door.

"Y/n? Are you back." Opening the door, you see Jotaro.

"Nope."

"What a comedian... Is that a cat?"

"Yup."

Sighs, "I won't help you take care of it."

"Pft! Got it, so you checking in on me?"

"Actually, the speed wagon foundation has updated me on your situation."

Surprise fills you. You just remembered you're in an unknown world. Of course, you love it but you still have a life back home. Know that you're facing it, you're a bit conflicted.

"Well, what is it?"

"...They don't know."

"They don't know? There's nothing? No stand users, nothing?"

"Nothing. Is there anything that was going on with you back in your world?" You hesitate, not that you know of, you were anxious, and you did wish to disappear at times. But you didn't think that was justification for teleporting into a world you've never heard of before.

"Well, I have anxiety, and there were points where I wanted to just up and disappear. But Nothing like this, nothing to cause this I mean." He sat there in thought.

"Alright, I'll tell them that. Good night y/n."

"Good night." He leaves shutting the door behind him. You get ready and curl up into bed, your cat curling up with you. You decided to name him f/n. But before sleeping you kept thinking, and thinking turned into worrying. Then you started crying. You missed your family, friends, what happened to them?

Where did you go? Are they sad? You ended up crying yourself to sleep.
