CHIRON MOVES PERCY TO CABIN THREE THE NEXT MORNING. nobody mentions the hellhound in front of him, but campers sure are loud when he isn't near. the attack leaves everyone scared with the messages it came with: he's the son of the sea god; and that monsters will stop at nothing to kill him.
the campers now avoid him like the plague. cabin eleven is too nervous to have sword class with him after what he'd done to the ares kids in the woods, so his lessons with luke become one-on-one.
if you ask lola, she would be heartbroken if she were in his shoes again... which she sort of is.
she isn't being avoided like percy is, but half of the campers are being cautious around her now. she understands perfectly why they're behaving that way but it still hurts immensely.
and while everyone steers clear of the green-eyed boy, lola sticks around like nothing happened. sure, there is the possibility of monsters attacking her simply because she's around him, but she's already been through the worst. she doesn't really mind being collateral damage. she knows percy's miserable with the way things are and she refuses to let him feel as lonely as she once had.
