CHIRON MOVED PERCY TO CABIN THREE THE NEXT MORNING. nobody mentioned the hellhound in front of him, but campers sure were loud when he wasn't near. the attack left everyone scared with the messages it came with: he was the son of the sea god; and that monsters would stop at nothing to kill him.
the campers now avoided him like the plague. cabin eleven was too nervous to have sword class with him after what he'd done to the ares kids in the woods, so his lessons with luke became one-on-one.
if you ask lola, she would've lost her mind if she were in his shoes again... which she sort of was.
she wasn't being avoided like her friend was but half of the campers were being cautious around her now. she understood perfectly why they were behaving that way but it still hurt immensely.
and while everyone steered clear of the green eyed boy, lola stuck around like nothing happened. sure, there was the possibility of monsters attacking her simply because she was around him, but she didn't really mind. she knew percy was miserable with the way things were and she refused to let him feel as lonely as she once had.
