A shiver runs up my spine as I walk into the Sanctorum. I furrow my brows at all the frost everywhere.
"Woah. I can't believe I'm in the Sanctum Sanctorum." Ned wistfully says, I rub my arms as the tall older man next to me grumbles.
"Neither can I." This Doctor Strange guy says, I watch with bored eyes as Ned spins around looking everywhere.
"So, how did you know you were a man of magic? Because my nana says that we have it in our family. And sometimes I get these tingles in my hands." Ned spews out in a word vomit as the man looks back at us.
"Should talk to your physician." He nods coldly at Ned before continuing his trek up the staircase.
"Peter." I snap out of staring at the odd man, ironically named Dr. Strange, and looks towards MJ and Peter as they hug.
"I'm so sorry for dragging you into this. Listen, you just gotta help me find these guys." Peter quickly explains as he brushes his hair back.
"You don't have to apologize, okay? You got us a second chance at MIT. It's fine." MJ says, I watch as Ned grabs something off one of the tables and messes with it.
"So how did the bad guys get here?" I look up at Dr. Strange as his voice echos.
"We screwed up a spell trying to get you into college." He states, I sigh and smack Peter's arm, he flinches and holds his arm mouthing 'ow'.
"Dumbass." I say with a disapproving frown, he rolls his eyes.
"Wait what? I thought it was the MIT lady you saved."
"You did it with magic?"
Ned and MJ spoke over each other with confusion as I just stared directly at Peter to differentiate the man who came into my room to him. He was Taller than Peter, had a deeper voice, even carried himself differently. Smelled better too.
But who the hell was he?
how did he know where I lived?
How the hell did he get up to the 6th floor without any latter?
Why did he hug me?
Why was he so familiar?
He even smelled familiar. I shake my head, getting out of my head as my arms grabbed in a soft grasp.
"Hey you okay?" Peter asks with a look of concern, I look up at Peter and furrow my brows with a smile.
"No, yeah, I'm okay. All good." I breathe out a sigh as I look straight ahead.
"Okay..." He breathes out clearly not convinced.
"As of now, you've detected zero multiverse trespassers. Now get on your phones, scour the internet, and Scooby-doo this shit!" He waves his hands before dropping them at his sides. MJ laughs dryly as she looks up at him, there was a reason why she was called Serious Jones.
"You're telling us what to do, even though it was your spell that got screwed up, meaning that all this is kinda your fault. You know, I know a few magic words myself, starting with the word 'please'." She crosses her arms, Dr. Strange nods his head before saying what she wanted.
"Please. Scooby-Doo this shit." He gives her a dry sarcastic smile that dropped as quickly as it came.
"You can work in the undercroft." With that he left.
"The undercroft?" Ned asks, fascinated, like this was some magical spaceship in one of his geeky films.

I stand with my arms crossed, awkwardly standing between Peter and MJ as Ned turns the light on to the basement.
"Badass." He breathes out, not so badass. It smelled like moldy cheese, mildew, and existential crisis. He walks in as the washer buzzes on the far left of the room. I scrunch my nose up as I look around.
I jump back as I spot a creepy baby doll sitting on a shelf. What the hell was this dude doing in his free time? I sniffle, I could taste the decade old dust.
"Guys, listen about this whole spell thing." Peter starts,
"It's totally okay." MJ interrupted him,
"Wait really?" He asks, dropping his hands to his sides.
"Yeah. I mean, I totally get it. You were just trying to fix things, and so maybe just run it by us next time, you know? That way when you're thinking, 'Hey, I'm about to do something that could break the universe,' we could, like, help you workshop something or... brainstorm ideas." She says,
I smile at the two, it was visible how much affection he held for MJ. It was kind of sweet.
"Deal." he turns and looks at Ned.
"Ned?" he spins and reveals he's holding an old looking metal crossbow.
"Oh, dude, I don't care. It's seriously not a big deal. Uhm... O-o-oh! A torture rack." Ned fangirls over the shit this wizard had in his basement, I stare at him as he goes over to a Pilates machine.
"That is a Pilates machine..." I point out trailing off when I realize he's not listening.
"That is?" MJ asks, pointing off into the dark distance.
"The crypt." Peter says, MJ nods and we leave Ned behind to do weirdo crap.
"Okay, so, we get the rest of the guys, you zap them, Doctor magic will send them back, and when we get into MIT, a round of stale donuts, my treat." MJ says, I jump in my skin when Ned pops up beside me.
"Let's catch some multiverse men."
"Hey! Who the hell are these three?" An older man with weird metal tendrils sticking out of his back questioningly demands.
"These are my friends. This is MJ, Jane and Ned." Peter introduces us, I raise a still hand and Ned nods,
"Hi."
"I-I'm sorry what was your name again?" Peter asked,
"Doctor Otto Octavius." He says, I felt a smile slowly grow on my face as I release a cut off laugh, the others joining.
"Wait no, seriously what's your actual name?" Peter asks, I snicker a few more times before Ned points a different one out.
"Oh! Is that a dinosaur!" He says, I felt my heart stop and drop into my stomach as I stare at the reptilian eyes. He seems to stare directly back at me, his mouth twitching.
I swallow thickly as my stomach tingles, it felt like when your foot or hand fell asleep. I slowly drift my eyes away from him and to Peter as he walks back into the main part of the basement.
