I look between the two Spider-Men, before looking down at the hand clasped on my hips, two of his fingers slid through my belt-loops. I look up as he looks down at me, his eyes widen for a hot second before he releases me.
"Sorry." He mumbles quietly, clearing his throat.
"Wait, so you're Spider-Man too? Why didn't you just say that?" Ned asks,
"I generally don't go around advertising it. Kind of defeats the whole 'Anonymous superhero' thing." Peter behind me looks down,
"I just said that..."
"That's what he just said." MJ says louder. We all look at Ned's Lola as she points at her kitchen talking in Tagalog. Peter purses his lips in a tight line, eyeing Ned.
"My Lola's asking if you could clean up the webs that you just shot." The Peters look at Lola,
"Oh sorry Lola,"
"Yes, of course." Peter says, and Lola turns around,
"I'm going to bed." She declares, fair enough I'd go to bed too after witnessing this madness.
"Night Lola!" Ned bids her goodnight and the Peter behind me turns around situating the things he knocked over and picking the web off his blaster.
"This might seem a little weird, I've been trying to find your friend ever since I got here. I just have this sense that... that he needs my help."
"Our help," The Peters explain, looking at each other.
"He does." MJ says,
"We don't know where he is." Ned lowers his voice looking at the second Peter.
"And, uhm, we're honestly all that he really has left." MJ sighs out,
"Well, okay, is there some place that he might go that has... meaning to him? Like uh-uh place where he would go to just–" He's cut off by the Peter behind me.
"Get away from everything." I look up at him and faint laughter ripples through my head. The faint feeling of warmth spreading through my body.
"For me, it was the top of the Chrysler building." Second Peter says, first Peter inhales,
"Empire state. It's just–It's a better view." He breathes out nodding,
"That is a sweet view." Second, Peter really gave off youth church pastor vibes. I don't know why, the way he spoke was oddly calm and soft and it sounded like he was giving advice to children. Which in all fairness he was.
"Pete loved to hang out at the roof of the school whenever he was overwhelmed. In freshman year we ate lunch up there. Me and him used to do school work there too," I explain looking between both Peters. My eyes rest themselves on the first Peters, his oh so sweet eyes look up at me, slightly wide and just full of kindness.
They soften upon looking at me, an almost noticeable smile on his thin soft lips. Why did he feel so familiar, and why did I feel so comfortable around him? Who is he? He releases a quiet shallow breath as he nods at the others.
"Let's go find your Spider-Man."

I rush onto the roof with the others and immediately spot Peter caving in on himself, I felt my heart completely break for him. MJ was the first to reach him and she kneels down cupping his face pulling him into a hug. I kneel on his right as Ned crouches behind him, we all join in on the hug as Peter sobs, gripping my sleeve and MJ's arm tightly. He slowly stops sniffling and raises his head, a look on his face; he knew the others were here.
