Best Friend Not Forever

For many years, she was my bestest friend
Sadly, it had come to an end

She told me that we will be there for longer
Sadly, it ended rather more shorter

I still had the gift I got as a birthday present
Little did I know that she would be absent

Sometimes , I see her with others all smiles and happy
It’s been ages since she smiled at me

I may not see her here
But our fond memories in my head will always be there

I miss her too much making my heart feel sore
But I don’t think she cares that much anymore

I will never regret our friendship
But I will always regret its end
