I'm sorry it took me about 2 millenniums to write, but it's here!

Here's the epilogue that I promised guys! I really, really, REALLY hope it doesn't disappoint, because I worked so so so hard in this.

It took me weeks to write 🥲

So, I really hope it meets your expectations!!

It's a long one too 🤣 Nearly 9,000 words!

So, without further ado -

Here is the epilogue!

5 years later...

Jimin's POV:

The timer goes off, notifying me that it's time to check the oven and see how my cake is doing.

I open the oven, and take the delicious smelling cake out, smiling to myself, full of pride.

It looks and smells amazing.

Over the past 5 years, Jungkook has taught me how to make so many different things. Cakes, cookies, cheesecakes, dumplings, pizzas, lasagne... so many things.
But there are still things I can't cook and if I attempt to cook, you can be sure that the fire alarm will be blaring some time later, or a rancid smell will be wafting around the kitchen due to me putting the wrong ingredient in, or too much of something.

Spaghetti carbonara is my arch nemesis. I always manage to scramble the eggs. And don't ask me how I managed to put a whole bag of salt into a cake instead of sugar one time, because I don't want to talk about it... I was pregnant at the time too, so trying a bite of that cake had me vomiting and feeling nauseous for the rest of the week. I've only just recently been able to start eating cake again.
After the salt incident, Jungkook made sure to put labels on the salt and sugar, so I wouldn't end up making the same mistake again. He put labels on all of the cooking items and ingredients, just to be safe. It's worked so far, so that I'm grateful for.

Well... excusing the fact that I put daffodils in with the noodles I was going to eat a few nights ago... I did wonder why they smelt strange, but I figured it was just my imagination.

No.

Daffodils.

Jungkook nearly had a heart attack when he walked into the kitchen and spotted the remains of the daffodils on the counter. He saw me lifting a forkful of noodles to my mouth, connecting the dots very quickly. I've never seen the alpha move so fast.

Apparently daffodils are toxic.

My question is, who bought the daffodils and left them on the side next to the spring onions in the first place?

Jungkook.

Who's the real person at fault here?

Jungkook.

Bastard nearly killed me!

Though, I'm sure I would've worked out my grave mistake after the first forkful.

But I'm grateful Jungkook walked in and stopped me when he did, I'd probably never be able to even look at noodles again.

It's been 5 years to the day since me an Jungkook got together. I can't believe it's been that long... time has flown by. We got married about a year after we got together. It was only a small wedding, but it was absolutely perfect. We decided to honeymoon in Hawaii, and it was the most wonderful 2 weeks. I could barely walk for most of it because of all the sex we had. I was pregnant at the time too.
