Echo was pacing in the bridge of the Winter Legion's flagship, the Corrobahn Torris. He had scheduled a meeting for those that were high ranking in the Legion, or were involved in the still new alliance with the Union, a militia from the Last City led by a former mercenary named Camille. Some were already in the bridge. Acreo was stood tall near the doorway, waiting for the others who weren't present to arrive; Val Callur, Echo's oldest member of his Legion, and the highest rank in it aside from Echo himself, and a select few that Echo chooses. They were still waiting for 5 more people.
"What's taking so long? Didn't I say this was urgent?" - Echo
"Recon went to find Jade, since she wasn't at the base when the Traveler went to orbit. As far as the others, word is they're on the way. Camille will be here soon, the Harvester she's on just sent word that they're leaving the Last City now." - Acreo
"Alright. Suppose it's not out of the question for them to take their time. Everybody's on edge." - Echo

She still wasn't used to it, being on a Cabal ship, fighting alongside warriors who could have just as easily been on the other side of her gun. There was still some discomfort in the ship, and the unease could be felt in the air. Her soldiers were isolating themselves inside the ship, and the cabal were also distancing themselves from the Union members. And then, the unease finally came to a head.
"We wouldn't have lost Rasputin had you guys stopped Xivu Arath on your planet." one of the Union soldiers scoffed at the Winter Legion legionaries.
"It was your machine that threatened all of our survivals" one legionary replied, although you could tell he wasn't the best at speaking other languages. The fight broke out quick, and it was two legionaries against three Union members.
"Hey, knock it off!" Camille yelled, throwing her shield between the fight before it got physical. "You guys have every right to be a bit testy right now, but at least know who your enemies are compared to your allies."
The soldiers stared at each other, then looked down in embarrassment. For a moment, all they fought for unraveled. As the inhabitants of the harvester calmed down, the Winter Legion base within the Norwegian mountain of Glittertind came into view.
The Harvester began to touch down, and another ship was on the airstrip, one that Camille felt was familiar, but she didn't recognize.
"Lady Camille?" a voice asked as Camille stepped put of the Cabal ship.
"Um, hi. What is it?" Camille responded as she turned around. The person speaking to her was a hunter, a human woman with black hair and blue eyes.
"The meeting that Echo wants you at is supposed to start in a bit. I'll bring you to the Corrobahn." the woman told Camille.
"Lead the way."
As they walked through the base, Camille noticed that there were more there than usual. Most of the guardians in the WL had come back from their duties on Echo's orders. They passed by an exo with bright, radiant flames coming from his body, and a titan with dark armor that looked older than him.
"Lots of people listen to Echo, huh?" Camille asked.
"They tend to gravitate towards him if he does their job better than they do. Plus, he's always been a good leader."
"So how long have you known him?"
"Oh, just a year or two. But he's been really nice to me."
"And what's your name? Seeing as you know mine, it's only fitting I know yours."
"Mia. My name is Mia. Still new around here so I'm not used to all the noise, or the layout of this place. I was just given directions to bring you and some others to where Echo is for this meeting."
"Well thank you. Seems like we're here, so I guess I'll see you sometime after this." Camille said. Mia waved goodbye and ran off into the base. Camille took a deep breath, and walked up the ramp into the Winter Legion flagship.
