Authors note: hi guys!! i know it's been a long time since i've updated but for some reason i got signed out for a fat minute and couldn't log back in until now, but i promise i'll be updating more frequently <3
y/n's mom POV:
"Y/N, breakfast is ready!" i yell from the kitchen. there was no answer. "y/n?" i questioned going up to her room. i start smiling to myself when i see a sleepy y/n and sarah cuddled up a bit. i grabbed the blanket from the side of the bed that was about to fall and put it on top of them since it seemed as if they were cold.
i start heading down & put the food in the microwave knowing they'll probably be up in an hour or so. once i put everything away i grabbed a sticky note and left it on the kitchen counter. i grabbed my purse and left for work. (it was Saturday)
A couple hours later...
Y/N's POV:
once again i'm getting awakened by the sound of my phone ringing. i picked up my phone and answered it not bothering to see who's calling. "hello?" i groaned. "Y/N, im coming home early. My boss's kids went missing so they sent me home." my mom explained. "okay. get home safe" i looked at sarah who's starting to wake up and i decided to play a little joke. "i will. see you soon, love you" my mom said and hung up. i smiled and said "i love you more" i looked at sarah who's currently glaring at me.
"good morning sunshine" i joked. "y/n, who was that?" she said "mmmm who want to know." i said smiling softly tilting my head slightly. Sarah scoffed and was just about to get up until i pulled her towards me giving her a kiss. "it was my mom". i laughed. "she's coming home early. something about a kid going missing." Sarah's face went from looking annoyed to worried. "hey, what's wrong?" i questioned caressing her cheek.
"um nothing! i just have to go um do something real quick so you'll stay here and i'll be back in a hour or two" sarah quickly said grabbing her belongings and left just leaving me worried and confused. so many questions are filling up my head not even noticing the person leaning against my doorway.
