Y/N's POV:
how do i explain this to my mother? where do i even start? you know what? i'll be fine. let's just stop overthinking it. i opened my door and called out to my mom.
"in here" i heard from the living room. "hey can we uh talk?" i ask fidgeting my fingers. "after what i saw i think that's a great idea" she says glaring at me.
"Y/N, who was that and why was she in my house when you're literally grounded."
"well, her name is Sarah and i invited her last night." i say moving my hair from my face. "so you're saying that she's the reason why YOU came home last night?" she asks raising her voice. "what?! no? mom, i already told you. i went out for a walk and i saw sarah. she asked me for directions to a place she wanted to go to and i showed her where it was then we started talking and i invited her over."
"Do you not know how dangerous that is! Inviting a complete stranger to my house?! How irresponsible can you be? The only reason i went up to your room is to apologize but instead i walk in on my daughter having sex? You completely lost my trust." she says getting up.
"I never even had your trust to begin with. You never even let me be by myself in the house because you think that i'm gonna throw a party, you never let me go out to a party because you're scared that i'm gonna go and get drunk or smoke weed, you never let me see MY dad because you're scared that i'm gonna forget about you and be with him."
"and look where we are y/n. we're on the same roof and you're having sex when im in the other room. if you want me to trust you then you have to earn it." she said going upstairs slamming her bedroom door.
i go up to my room and lock the door. i grab my phone and slide open my window. i climbed up to the roof and crawl to the middle of the house and sat down. i unlocked my phone and saw a message from sarah. i smiled and opened the message
Sarah: hellooooo!! look what i could do 🍕🤬🔥😡🍕💀😍😎.
y/n: yes, those are emojis :) but anyways i talked to my mom.
Sarah: oh and how did it go?
y/n: well not the greatest. i won't be able to see you a while buuuuut i have school on Monday and my mom knows that i love to go out to eat right after school so what do you say?
Sarah: you are a bad influence but sounds like a plan, but i'm gonna have to let you go. I have to start heading inside.
y/n: oki byeeee! i'll see you soon.
Sarah: bye 🫶
I looked at the time and saw that it was 11. I head inside but i hear someone banging on the door trying to get in. I unlocked my door and opened it. "mom?" i asked. "why was this door locked?" she questioned. "i was up on the roof and you would've scared me if i were to-" she interrupted me and gave me a hug.
"God i'm so sorry Y/N. i'm so sorry for not trusting you. i was just scared that something bad was gonna happen to you." she said letting me go and looking at me in the eyes. "no i'm sorry for what happened today and lying to you." i said giving her a hug. "you know that i love you, right?" she asked giving me a kiss on the top of head. "yes and i love you so much more" i smiled. "impossible" she said laughing.
"but you're still grounded for lying to me but tell you what she could come over as long as you ask first." she said leaving my room. i smiled to myself and start getting ready for bed
today was definitely the worst but the best day of my life.
