Bettel is Stand-in Leader...OH NO!

A/N: This is going to be a multi part series with different scenarios

It was a morning throughout Elysium and Altare decided to go out shopping with Axel and Vesper for guild hall supplies.

"I 'm leaving Gavis in charge and please don't burn down the guild hall or cause complete chaos when I'm gone, I'll be back in an hour," says Altare as he leaves. He shuts the door as he leaves, leaving the chaotic bunch together.

Not even two minutes later, Magni comes out after experimenting on new flavours for his new copium energy drink,  which failed miserably and left his room a mess.

"Where is Altare?" asks Magni. 

"He went o ut shopping for supplies and put me in charge," says Gavis excitedly. "I'm curious if you guys want something to eat, I can make tomato anything, even though  I don't like fruit."

Everyone in the guild hall all stares at him in horror what he just asked.

"Maybe you should cook with supervision," says Shinri politely.

"What? I can cook without a mess and better than Gordon Ramsey, just you wait and taste my brilliant meals made by the great Gavis Bettel!" says Gavis with weird hand gestures.

"I'll try it and like it most likely," says Hakka after making cute birb noises.

Magni then says with a huge grin on his face, "I'll try it if you try my new copium energy drink flavours."

Gavis looked a bit scared, but plans to try it because Magni and him are friends and it's not like Magni will kill Gavis with his new energy drink.   As for everyone else, they reluctantly agreed with terrified looks on their faces. So Gavis then gets to the kitchen and found a random recipe out of his hat because where else would he keep them?

W hy are there so many steps to tomato soup, isn't there only tomato in tomato soup? He complains as he pulls out the tomato soup from his hat. 

And so, he proceeds to somehow make tomato soup completely wrong. He tosses half of the ingredients on the ground and puts too much and too little of said ingredients, it looked like pink sauce soup with like a tower of basil leaves on top as garnish. As he brings his concoction that looked as appetizing as the floor out, everyone broke out in a cold sweat.

Meanwhile in the shopping centre, "I wonder how everyone is doing in the guild without me?"

"They should be fine Altare, Gavis would be a great stand-in leader, nothing can go wrong, right?"

"I guess so," Altare answers back.

Vesper was looking through his Twitter hoping nothing is wrong and his face darkened at what everyone was posting:

@gavisbettel: look what I cooked up for everyone, isn't it pretty? 10/10 if I do say so myself

@noirvesper: what happened to Altare saying to keep the kitchen clean?

@machinaxflayon: I ain't doing those dishes or trying it, uh uh

Vesper brought to Altare's attention that they should maybe finish up their shopping sooner than expected and rush back. As they were rushing out of the shopping centre, Axel gets a phone call.

"Sorry you guys, I need to go to the gladiator arena, see ya guys at the guild hall," before Altare and Vesper could ask the reason why, he darts off at the speed of light.

Back at the guild hall, it's a chaotic mess as everyone is trying to stop Gavis from cooking more and making more of a mess in the kitchen, but he still insists on cooking for everyone. After the milky tomato soup they had, he decides to try something a bit harder and longer, a tomato bruschetta, which he looks at with disbelief at how hard it is to cook. After reading the recipe about two times, he decides to make it the Bettel way, which is pretty much, put anything in it and call it bruschetta. After it's done and made, everyone didn't even want to try it at all, but still did it because they wanted to be nice.

Meanwhile on the way back to the guild hall, "I hope the place hasn't been blown down to the ground and we make it in time" says Altare a mild bit worried.

Vesper responded to help soothe Altare, "Don't worry, I'm sure they will be fine they have Shinri with them, I'm sure he can handle the mess that Bettel is doing, at least your luck isn't as bad Bettel's."

"Thanks Vesper, I really needed that," Altare said while hugging Vesper.

"That's fine Altare, maybe I'll check to see how everyone is doing and hopefully it's not as chaotic anymore."

So Vesper went onto Twitter to check and what he said to Altare can't be any further than the truth:

@gavisbettel: sent a picture of what was going on with a peace sign

@noirvesper: what did you do and why r the other members dying on the ground? What even.

@magnidezmond: please we need leaders help, @gavisbettel is trying to kill us!!!!

@machinaxflayon: please save me, I'm under hiding under the table

@gavisbettel: well now I know where you are Flay, I'm going to make you try it

@machinaxflayon: (scream emoji)

As Vesper was watching all this unfold, he was now thinking about a stern talking to with Gavis, while  Altare thinks of either making Gavis eat sushi whole or by eating an extremely spicy taco because why not.

Back at the chaotic guild hall, after the craziness that Bettel created, he had the audacity to ask the other members if they wanted dessert, barely anyone said anything because they were either half dead or terrified at what might ensue. Gavis took the extreme silence as a 'yes' and tried making dessert out of the following ingredients: red wine, an unhealthy number of strawberries, too much vanilla, coconut milk, and a cheese quarter. As he was making it, of course everything went wrong, and he spilt the entire concoction on the ground. The clinking and clanging basically woke everyone up and they were terrified to the point of passing out again, though Magni was kind of enjoying the show. After an hour of Bettel trying to fix his dessert, he gives up and resorts to giving everyone a single strawberry, which managed to give everyone a sigh of relief.

After that craziness happened, Altare and Vesper meets with Axel at the guild hall to everyone practically dead, their spirit escaping their bodies. Altare was flat out speechless as well as Vesper, though Axel was enjoying poking them awake.

After the initial shock wore down, Vesper checked the kitchen, hoping fingers crossed that Bettel at least fixed the kitchen, but he ended up being the disappointed grandpa instead, he then pulls Bettel out of the kitchen and had Shinri help clean the place. The punishment for Bettel (by Altare's orders) is making him eat a combination of sushi and a taco, making the taco out of all the ingredients that Bettel used for the food he made everyone and tossed in a giant sushi in there then folded it.  So that was one of the most eventful days of guild Tempus and hopefully not the last.
