Hotel room (pedri)

Not our normal interview.

I woke up in a hospital bed,pedri on a chair next me holding my hand tightly.

"thank fuck your awake" he said getting up and giving me a hug.

"why am i here?" i said pulling him in as all i needed was to feel him next to me right now.

"you passed out my love. They thought it was a concussion,you were just worked up and stressed" he replied,as he sat back down and kissed my hand.

There was police officers outside of the door that clearly noticed i was awake. The came in.

"hi miss,we'd like to ask you two a few questions if that's okay ?" one of the officers said.

"yes of course that's fine" i said moving up onto the bed.

I was still in my clothes from before,only thing is i had a drip connected to my arm. My parents were informed by Pedri but he told them not to worry and that he will bring me home safely later.

"right so is there anything you remember from before the attack,angelica ?"

"uhh,i was walking into camp. I heard someone behind me,like sprinting behind me so i started to walk a bit faster,and then i felt her grab my by my shoulder".

"did she say anything?" they asked.

"not that i can remember. She tried to swing at me but i punched her first. I just tried to protect myself,that obviously didn't work" i said signaling to me being in a hospital bed.

"no you did the right thing,i'm surprised police didn't get her sooner. The not stop harassment and now the assault" they replied.

"am i going to get in trouble,for hitting first ?" i asked.

"no,it was self defense. She's already in a holding cell back at the station".

I sighed in relief.

"now pedro,you told me she called you right ? what did she say in the call" the officer asked.

"she said that she's seen angelica leave her house,and that she was going to camp to get her,she said she had a knife and that me and angelica will pay" he replied.

"pay for what exactly?" the other officer asked.

"i cheated,i cheated on louise. But if she didn't give me that choice too then i wouldn't have".

"pedro we looked through calls in our system relating to you,one from your mum that louise was outside your home door banging on it and threatening you. Is that true ?"

I looked at pedri,he never told me this before.

"yes,it's true" he mumbled.

I've never felt so bad for someone. It's like someone just crashed my world and it was crumbling into pieces.

"right that's all we need for now,louise isn't going to get away with this. Speedy recovery angelica,thank you guys" the officers said as they left.

Once they closed the door behind them i turned to Pedri.

"pedri,you never told me that" i said with tears in my eyes.
