It was really a fun filled party, because we all brought our party vibes into view. It was just close friends and family. And we also got to spend a lot of time together, just cousins vibing.
I got home by 11:30pm, and was very tired. Aunty Rahma, one of our cousin's mum offered to take me home since Salma had an emergency and had to leave early.
"Sannu mummy" I greeted immediately I entered the house. Mummy was sitting on a mat in the living room reciting her Qur'an.
"Finally! I wanted to start calling as to why you haven't returned yet" She said closing her Qur'an.
"You know the whole family came down for the wedding, so it was a full house at the party." I said removing my veil.
"Is uncle baba still here?" I asked referring to our butler. He was an old man and we refered to him as uncle baba.
"He left to his quarters since 10, he insisted on waiting for you but I told him to go while I wait for you." Mummy explained and I nodded before taking of my head tie and sighing.
"Do you want to undress yourself here? Zaka tashi ka shiga ciki jorrh." Mummy glared and I laughed a little
"I'm just tired gaskiya. Good night mama." I said bending to her level and giving her a small hug
"Allah sa albarka,Farah" She said patting me slowly.
I got to my room and took a very warm shower, before retiring to bed.

I had woken up as early as 4:00am this morning because I had a project I was working on. I know I would be very absent throughout this week because of Laila and Abdul Rasheed's wedding, so I had to call my assistant - Eve to send all pending works to the house. It was 9:30am now, I have been on my laptop since 4:00am and only stood up around 5:30am to pray fajr before returning yo my work. There was a knock at my room door and I muttered a come in.
"Salam aleikum, Hajiya" I looked to see Aunty Khadijah, she helps us in our house chores.
"Walaikum salaam, aunty. Come inside" I said, sitting properly and focusing on her.
"Your mum said you should come downstairs, she wants you yo help her with something" She said and I nodded
"Okay aunty. Please tell mummy I will be down soon" I said and she smiled before leaving.
I kept my laptop aside and went into the bathroom. I washed my face before picking up a long Hijab and wearing it.
I packed all the things I was working on and kept it aside, before exiting the room and locking the door. They were children in the house and I didn't want them to go inside my room and scattered my things.
I went downstairs, and made my way to the kitchen. I met mummy mixing a barter.
"As salam alaikum mama" I greeted hugging her from the back
"Are you just waking up?" She asked
"No, I woke up since 4am. I was working on something we are about to launch" I said and she nodded.
"You barely had any sleep then" She said
"I couldn't even sleep well sef. My mind was on the new product we are making, I just hope it doesn't go bad" I complained
"In Sha Allah, it won't" She said and I muttered an "Ameen"
"I'm baking, for the little children. Help me, please" She said again checking the oven
"Oh! I promised Nabeel that I would bake something for him before they go back, but I can't even do that now." I said and she chuckled
"I have told Hafsah to be careful with what Nabeel takes. He eats too many sweet things." She said and I laughed.
