Sunny stretched lightly from where he was huddled up to Basil, acting much like a cat. Basil hummed as he looked back at Sunny, turning over to face him.
"Morning... You're up early.." The blonde whispered, smiling gently as he brought a hand up to Sunny's face.
"Mmmm... What time is it..?" Sunny grumbled, not bothering to open his eyes (Or, eye,) as he spoke.
"About 6:34.. I'll have to get ready for classes soon.."
"Don't leave me heeeere..."
"Sunshine- I'll be back before dawn, trust me.."
The ravenette protested with a few more of his half intelligable pouts, to which Basil sighed, trailing his hand down to Sunny's back, hugging him close.
"Fine... I'll stay with you for today.."
Sunny let out a pleased noise at that, wrapping his arms around the other. He hid his face in Basil's fluffy, but somewhat tangled, hair.
".. You're gonna have to cook us breakfast though."
"... Mmmggh.. Hnmm.."
Basil blew a slight laugh out his nose, before leaning into Sunny's neck, peppering it with kisses. He swore he heard Sunny purring for a second.
The taller (Not THAT taller than him, but still taller) nuzzled against his hair, before hiding his face in the crook of Basil's neck. He murmured something before settling into a more comfortable position, and dozing off once more.
Basil smiled, pulling away from his neck and pecking him on the cheek, curling up against him right after.
He closed his own eyes, and eventually fell asleep.
He should really take more days off. Especially if it means that he gets to cuddle with his best friend.
