oh my god..

after all the time i spent studying them i never expected to come face to face with one unless it was my last moments

it hits me why the seemingly innocent man was being chased

he wasn't a innocent civilian after all.. i should have known

but i can't help but wonder why he asked me to show mercy when he expected death...

was it part of his tricks? it had to have been

but a part of me feels like it wasn't that somehow

i felt like i could trust him but that scared me more

he's a demon..i can't trust a demon and i know that

SHANES POV

he stared at me with a look of fear

"p-please" he stuttered out

"i'm not going to hurt you.." i say with a sigh even though i know he won't listen

"you liar!- all demons are evil"

even though i had heard it all before being called a liar still kind of hurt..

what was i expecting even trying to say i was no harm..?

nobody trusts a demon.

i suddenly felt dizzy my vision fading and it all went black

i saw the demon fall to the ground with a thud

what the hell..?

i took this time to examine him noticing that he had
pretty bad wounds

wait but... demons aren't suppose to be able to be injured..?!

that..doesn't make sense....

whatever.... i suppose if he's injured i could keep him as a prisoner...?

he started to wake

"speak of the devil" i said under my breath

SHANES POV

i wake and my head hurt, i probably hit the floor when i passed out.

i shake my head and look over

he stood there with a tiny bottle

i questioned the expression on his face but he walked over to me and reached his hand out to help me up..?!

i took his hand and got up

"listen here demon, i have holy water and i'm not afraid to use it." he said with a stern look but i could tell from his eyes he was still scared

the way he said demon made me feel like nothing but a creature, a waste of space. but i knew he was just afraid

"i know you won't listen but i swear i'm not here to hurt you." i say

"you know i can't believe you" he replied

i said nothing but i could tell i probably looked terrified

i am, i am truly scared because who knows what his plans are

i suddenly burst into tears and i swear i saw his expression change out of the corner of my eye

i fell onto the floor and continued sobbing
