Chapter 2

Kid's pov:
     "Bye kiddo! Wait! " I stopped. "You almost forgot your lunch! " I smiled as she handed it to me.
     "Thanks mom! " I began walking to school it was a while to walk and on that route I'd pass the Applesoft Mansion. Normally I'd see Ted and Felix leaving or already left. Today it was just Felix. We locked eyes.

     "Hey Felix!" I called out. "Where's Ted? " I asked. "He's always with you"
     "Teddy is sick today so he's staying home" I nodded.
     "Well do you want to walk with me to school? It'd be better than walking by yourself to school! So do you want? " I gave a offer. I watched as Felix thought about it.
     "Sure. I suppose I could" he said walking next to me. There was quite a height difference between the two of us he was taller than me by a lot.
     "So... How are you?" I asked trying to spark a conversation.
     "... I'm doing... Fine I suppose. " I smiled. "How are you doing kid? "
     "I'm doing good! " I responded.
     "Nice, so... Say why aren't you in the upstairs class? You seem intelligent enough to get in" Felix asked.
     "Dr. Danner won't let me in until I get a A+." I groaned.
     "I paid to get in" Felix said.
     "Not all of us can afford paying the teacher off to let you in. No offence. " I said.
     "My apologies that came out rude. " Felix apologized. "Anyway we're here. " Felix was right we made it to school. Before I could go chat with Lily, Billy, and Nugget. Felix grabbed my arm.
     "Yeah Felix? " I asked. He let go.
     "N-nevermind... Have a good day kid" have a good day too Felix.
