Liam's Stay

Allison had not seen her brother Liam for years. The last time they spoke was when he was arrested and sentenced to prison for theft. She had not expected to see him again, but one day, she got a call from him, saying he was being released soon and needed a place to stay for a few weeks.

Allison was hesitant to agree, but Liam sounded genuine and promised that he had changed. She spoke to her husband, Ethan, who also had reservations but agreed to give Liam a chance.

However, Allison couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. She noticed Liam receiving phone calls at odd hours and sneaking out of the house late at night. She tried to confront him, but he brushed off her concerns, saying it was work-related.

One day, while Liam was out, the police showed up at Allison's doorstep. They had a warrant for Liam's arrest for his involvement in a robbery. Allison was shocked and heartbroken.
