Mikey's Challenge For Him

It was a Friday afternoon in New York and everyone except you was at the lair, having just finished their training. You had something to take care of that afternoon, so you have told them that you'd be joining them in the evening.

Casey happened to be playing Space Heroes Pinball's machine, trying to get a new high score and break Leo's record which has been the highest that no one could beat yet.

He groaned in frustration when he lost again, deciding to try it again later as he sat down next to Raph who was reading one of his magazines, "Man, I'm never gonna beat Leo's high score."

"Aw, don't worry, Casey. We all have something we can't do," Raph mocked with a smirk, earning himself a glare from Casey. Then, Mikey chimed in with a hum, grabbing another piece of the pizza he was having, "Yea, dude. Even Leo has something he can't do."

"Oh yeah? Like what?" Casey asked, leaning back in his seat and Mikey grinned mischievously as he stood up.  "Why, allow me to demonstrate...Hey, Leo! Great timing, bro! There's something I need to ask you!" he said playfully and called to Leo who had just finished talking with you on the phone in his room and had a huge smile on his face.

"What's it?" he asked, walking up to join his youngest brother who still had this sly smile on his face. "We were just talking about somethings we can't do and can do. And...I came up with a challenge that you can't do!" he announced playfully, pointing a finger at Leo who raised a brow in interest while Raph and Casey shared a glance with each other and shrugged.

"Is that so? Alright then. Let's see what it is that I can't do," Leo replied with a slightly amused and confident smile on his face as he kept his T-Phone back. Behind him, April and Donnie stopped, curious about what's going on.

"Okay. Say (Y/n)'s name," Mikey challenged with and Leo blinked, surprised that Mikey did come up with something he wasn't expecting.

"That's it?" he asked, not aware that Raph who was starting to catch up on what Mikey was doing smirked and took out his phone, making Casey look at him in confusion. He was about to ask what he was doing, but a Casey got was a hush in response, making him huff. 

"Uh huh. Simple, isn't it?" Mikey hummed, crossing his arms with a smile.

"Okay...(Y/n). There. Happy?" Leo said with a smile, but Mikey's smirk only widened as he nodded in approval. "Good practice. Good practice, bro. Now try saying it again...without smiling this time," he challenged again with a taunting smirk and Leo was confused for a second, not really knowing what his brother was up to.

"Okay...(Y/n)," he said it again and paused, realizing he smiled. Mikey continued to smirk, watching him closely with his arms still crossed.

Leo's cheeks reddened slightly as he cleared his throat. "(Y/n)," he tried again, and again paused, knowing that he had smiled once again, saying his girlfriend's name.

The other paused in realization at what Mikey was doing and started to smile in amusement, watching Leo glanced at Mikey whose smirk has even more widened which caused Leo to become slightly flustered.

"(Y-Y/n)!" Leo tried again and he flinched, knowing all too well that he had smiled again and everyone watched amused as Leo started to become even more flustered before he lifted his hands in defeat and rolled his eyes, "Oh, alright. Fine. I can't say (Y/n)'s name without smiling. So what?" he quickly said, trying to brush it off with a shrug though there was still a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

"Aww, that's so cute," April commented, holding her hands together.

"Wow. Great Fearless Leonardo admitted that he can't say (Y/n)'s name without smiling. What a surprise," he commented as well, glancing over at his phone every now and then with a smirk. Casey peeked over his shoulder at what he was doing and started to smirk as well, giving Raph a quick thumbs up before he pretended like he did not see what Raph was doing with his phone at all.

"I bet (Y/n)'d have loved to hear this," Casey pointed out with a playful smirk while Raph hummed and nodded in agreement. "Oh, I'm sure. She'd have," he said and Casey held the urge to laugh out loud which he tried to cover it with a clear of throat.

"Alright. Alright, you guys got me this time. And (Y/n) knows I love her even if she didn't see that. I'll be in the dojo meditating if you need me," Leo said and walked away towards the dojo, smiling at the though of you in his head. And as soon as he was gone, Raph held up his phone, facing the camera back to him with a knowing smile on his face, "You got all that, (Y/n)?" he asked, earning a surprised and amused look from the rest of the gang while you replied with a giggle, "I sure did."

Poor Leo didn't know that Raph had you on video call in his T-Phone since the moment he figured out what Mikey was up to and that you've seen how he wasn't able to stop smiling when he says your name. And damn, how you started to adore your fearless leader in blue even more than you already do with that warm, fuzzy feeling filling in your heart from what you just saw.
