When You Meet Again

You sighed softly as you sat down on the edge of the rooftop of the building you live in with a box of pizza you ordered for yourselves. You took a deep breathe and looked at the wonderful view of the city's nightlights, enjoying the wind that was blowing gently. Your mind wondered to the ninja turtle you have met a week ago as you opened one of your novels to read, couldn't help but thinking that you should have asked if he had a phone and asked for his number.

As you read, a soft thud behind you caught your attention and you turned around, wondering what the sound was. A wide smile appeared on your face when you sees who your visitor was as his smile mirrored yours, "Why, hello, Leo."

"Hey. Thought I might drop by and say hi to my Miss Fearless," Leo jokingly replied, making you laugh at his words. "Well, you are in luck cuz I just brought some pizza. Come and join me," you invited him, motioning your head to the spot next to the pizza box for him to sit down. "You like pizza?" Leo questioned as he sat down. "Who doesn't?" you replied, taking a bite of your pizza happily which made Leo chuckle. "So...now that, we met again, can I know your name now?" he questioned and you laughed, realizing that you still haven't told him your name yet.

"Right. It's (Y/n)."

"Well, nice to meet you, (Y/n). Took me a while searching for you since you didn't exactly tell me where to find you," Leo said with a sightly teasing tone in his voice, making you giggle. "What's the fun in it if I just told you?" you joked back and the two of you laughed as you started eating pizza together, talking and losing track of the time as you get to know with each other better.

Leo tells you about his brothers, Master Splinter, what they do and how they've been trying to stop the Foot clan and aliens trying to invade Earth. And you listened to every word he said carefully with a smile on your face, enjoying his company.

Before you knew it, it has already got to 2:00 and you started to become tired and sleepy. "Well, I should probably go. Tomorrow is unfortunately Monday and I have to go to school again. It was really nice getting to know to you, Leo. What do you say? Same time tomorrow?" you asked and Leo nodded with a smile on his face as he helped you gather your stuff. Just as you enjoy his company, he mutually enjoy yours too. Seeing how tired you were, he picked up your stuff and then, bent down slightly, picking you up into his arms with ease as he asked you where you apartment was and carried you there after you told him where it was.

And boy, you totally didn't become wide awake with how he easily picked you up in his arms.

You smiled and thanked him as he placed you on your bed and put your stuff down. 

"Oh, and before I leave, this is for you," Leo said as he took out a piece of paper, placing it in your hand. "Well, I'll let you get some sleep now then. I'll see you tomorrow, (Y/n)!" he quickly said and then, rushed out of the window as if he was nervous upon seeing your reaction to what he just gave you.  "Good night, Leo!" you called out and then, glanced down at the paper in your hand, unfolding it. All sleepiness you were feeling disappeared and excitement filled your mind as you read what was written on the paper with a huge smile on your face.

(Leo's number here) Hey. Just wanted to give you this in case if you want to talk or text me. Or you could call me when you need me.

You couldn't help it. You squealed happily and started jumping up and down as you giggled, unaware that Leo was watching you from a distance in the shadows, smiling to himself and chuckling as he watched you jump up and down happily. He couldn't help it, he found you adorable with how happy you looked. He smiled and started heading back to the lair, without really aware that he unconsciously kept thinking of that smile on your face all the way back home.
