When You Hang Out Together

You hummed as you prepared your space heroes comics that you have into a neat stack and popcorn and pizza just like you had promised Leo that you would. It was 8:30 p.m and you moved around your room, making sure that everything looks nice, cozy, tidy and ready as you want to have a great time hanging out with Leo.

You changed into a pair of light blue pajamas and sat down on your bed as you started combing your hair. Your weren't really lying when you said that you dad was out for dinner with his colleagues so, lucky for you, you had the apartment to yourself and Leo tonight.

Soon, you heard a tap on your window and you smiled when you see Leo waving at you from outside won the fire escape with a bag in his other hand. You quickly went to open the window and moved aside, letting him climb into your room. "Hey. Hope you don't mind that I decided to come in a little early," he greeted with a smile as he climbed in.

"Not at all. Everything is ready and I was just waiting for you as well. Make yourselves at home, Leo," you said as you closed your window and drew the curtains before turning back to him.

"I also brought some of my Space Heroes comic just like I promised," Leo said, holding up the bag in his hand and handing it to you and he chuckled, watching your eyes sparkled with excitement as you looked into the bag. "Omg, I can't wait to check them out. My comics are on the bed. Come on," you grabbed his hand and excitedly led him to sit on your bed, eager to share your comics with him.

And as you two sat down on the bed together, you both gasped as soon as you both took a look at each other's comics. "Oh my shell, I don't even have these! Where did you get them?" Leo asked, excitedly yet carefully flipping through the comic in his hand with you, doing the exact same thing, "I was about to ask the same thing. How in the world did you get these?"

You both shared a look.

"Wanna swap for a while with me?" you both said at the same time and froze, before chuckling and looked away, neither of you unaware that both of you were blushing and had big smiles on your faces.

"Well...let's start with the movie then, shall we?" you asked, turning back to Leo with a smile on your face. Leo nodded and your smile only grew as you quickly went to grab the pizza and the popcorns, placing them on the table you've set on the floor and then, quickly grabbing the remote before you sat down by Leo's side and started watching Space Heroes together.

As the movie goes on with both of your attention completely drawn to the TV screen, you hand met with Leo's as you reached for a few popcorns, causing both of you to jump as you both turned to look at each other and then, your linked hands. For a moment, you both didn't to pull away and stayed like that before awkwardly shaking it off with a chuckle and pulling away. There was something. Something about in the atmosphere in your room has shifted into what it feels like when you're on a...date.

Your cheeks reddened at your own thoughts as you sneaked a glance at Leo, suddenly having the urge to snuggle with him. So, pulling some courage in your chest, you moved closer to Leo until your arms touched and sat there together with him. 

Leo froze as he felt your arm touched his and started blushing, but didn't say anything as a smile grew on his face and he continued to watch the movie in silence. Having her close to him to like this kind of felt really nice and natural to him and he absolutely didn't mind for one bit. In fact, he found himself starting to like the feeling of being with you close.

After quite a while, you sneaked another glance at Leo again to see his eyes completely glued to the TV and there was an awe-struck look of a child admiring his favorite superhero on his face which you found it seriously adorable as you turned your attention back to the movie.

Together, you both spent hours watching Space Heroes together until it was nearly 2:00 AM in the morning. And you started to yawn tiredly as you both finished another episode. "I am getting a little tired," you said, rubbing your eyes slightly which made Leo smiled. "Let's get you to bed then, princess," he said, picking you up in his arms easily in bridal style and placing you on your bed. "Thank you. Oh and hey, you can take my comics with you, okay?" you said, smiling at him sleepily as you watched him covered you with your blankets as well.

"Thanks, I will leave mine here as well so, you can can read them too," Leo said as he walked over to the other side of the room for a moment to close the lights. "Good night, Leo. Thanks for hanging out with me...today," you said, no longer able to keep your eyes open as you slowly started to drift off to sleep, making Leo smile with adoration as he walked back to your bed. "Good night and thanks for hanging out with me too, (Y/n)," he said quietly, placing a kiss on your forehead and his smile grew more watching you smile in your sleep.

The moonlight came into your room as he drew the curtains opened and opened your window to leave. He picked up your comics and then, took a look at you one last time, watching you sleep peacefully. Then, quietly, he climbed out onto the fire escape and closed your windows before he started heading back to the lair with you on his mind all the way.

Soon, Leo finally got back to the lair and Mikey greeted him just as he walked into the living room, "Dude, where have you been?"

"Just out to read comics and get some fresh air," Leo lied, proceeding to walk straight towards his room. "Out to read comics and get some fresh air, really?" Raph questioned, eyeing at him suspiciously with a raised brow which caused Leo to fight back the urge to roll his eyes.

"I can be at where I want, Raph. Besides, why should I be telling you everything I do?" he questioned back and left to his room, not waiting for a reply. Part of the reason why he came to your place early today was because he has argued with Raph again for another reason that he can't really remember anymore. Carefully, placing your comics beside his bed, an image of you peacefully sleeping with a smile appeared in his mind once again, making him smile.

"Good night, (Y/n)."
