Gaze upon a war
That ravaged the country.
Countless lives were lost,
From the bloodshed that occurred.
A year had passed,
The country became a wasteland.
Everyone does their best,
To restore what had fallen.
A family of four
Were able to escape the wreckage,
And flee the country,
Safe and sound.
They were welcomed in the new world,
Complete with open arms.
And they now live in peace,
Safe and sound.
