Choosing Ceremony part 3

Alexandria's pov:

After a while, we pull apart due to a thing called oxygen. I look at him and think about how lucky I am to be with Deuce. "Alex, what is it?" I smile and shake my head. "Nothing, bubs. Well, maybe one thing." Deuce tilts his head. 

"What baby girl?" Deuce wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer to him. I smile and blush at the nickname and wrap my arms around his neck. "Do you remember when my mom took down her force field and you came running towards me?" 

He nods and says, "Yeah and you backed away from me. Why did you back up?" I look at him and frown. "I was scared I would hurt you. I didn't know it was you at first. I thought it was another hunter. Anyway, when I realized it was you, I looked up didn't I?" He nods and smiles.

 "You did and you also relaxed. Can you explain why?" I nod with a very big smile on my face. I think back to that moment after fighting the hunters.

Flashback:

I, still in wolf form, nod at my mom signaling it's safe. My mom steps back and I see Deuce run over towards my wolf form. I back up only to find that it's just Deuce approaching me and I relax. I look up and meet his eyes. When I meet his eyes, I freeze. 'I imprinted.' I think. I see our future.

Visions:

I am standing in my room pacing. "Sweetheart, Deuce is going to lose his mind when he sees you." I look at my mom. "I know, I'm just nervous." My mom nodded and hugged me and that was all I needed. "Ready?" I nod. 'Let's go marry my best friend.' I think.

The vision changes.

I am sitting on the beach watching Deuce chasing our son laughing. I laugh at them until I see them running towards me. "What's up little man?" Our son giggles while he runs into my arms as Deuce wraps his arms around my waist.

The vision changes.

Me and Deuce are at the doctor's looking at our unborn daughter on the ultrasound. She looks so precious. Our son was so excited to find out he was going to get a baby sister. Deuce kisses my head and I feel him smile in my hair. 

I am pulled out of the visions when he kneels in front of me and wraps his arms around my neck. I nuzzle my head into his shoulder and inhale his scent. 'I'm so glad it's him and not someone else. And we are already dating so that's also a plus, but how am I going to tell him.' I am pulled out of my thoughts when I feel him scratch my head.

End of flashback

"Baby, you okay?" I nod and smile. "Yeah, I was just thinking about that moment when I looked into your eyes after fighting the hunters. Do you want to know what happened when I did, that caused me to relax into your touch?" He nods excitedly. 'Oh my god here we go, I'm going to tell him.' I think and take a deep breath. 

He brings one of his hands to my head and starts to play with my hair. "That feels good, but if you want to know, can you stop for a moment? Please?" He nods and smiles for me to continue. "Do you know how on full moons you keep me in control?" He nods and says, "Yeah, your mom told us it's because I'm your anchor, the reason you can control your wolf from lashing out and going on a killing spree." I nod and he motions for me to continue my point.

"Yeah, but you're not just my anchor. You're also my person. You're my soulmate. My imprint. I imprinted on you the day of my choosing ceremony. That's why I relaxed when you touched me and that's also why it took me all day to shift back. I was so scared of hurting you. Even though I relaxed when you touched me, I was still angry and I didn't want to hurt you."
