Jungkook: Fever

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes, He began to feel extremely dizzy, So he closed his eyes for sometime afraid he was going to pass out.

Minutes later, his dizziness had subsided, and he stood up slowly, feeling lightheaded as he walked out of his room and downstairs.

Everyone was watching a movie while seated in the living room, they were so absorbed in it and weren't paying attention to the maknae's presence.

Jungkook said "Good morning, Hyungs," as he made his unhurried way over to the couch right next to them.

They all failed to respond to Jungkook's statement since they were all so absorbed in the movie.

The maknae attempted to get their attention once more after feeling a little down.

" I said Good morning , Hyungs."

Jungkook repeated.

"Uh huh kook," Jin said, his gaze fixed on the television.

Jungkook became enraged and stood up, closing the television, causing all of the members to return to reality.

"What's the matter with you, Jungkook?! Did you not notice that we were watching a movie?! "

Jin yelled.

"Jungkook, what's the matter with you?! What were you thinking?!"

Yoongi yelled angrily at the maknae.

Hoseok, Namjoon, Jimin, and Taehyung were all glaring angrily at the maknae while crossing their arms.

Meanwhile Yoongi and Jin kept shouting at the maknae, demanding to tell them why he did so.

Jungkook was on the verge of tears, he was tired of his hyungs yelling at him and not taking care of him the way they used to.

his head was throbbing in pain and he couldn't stand their loud voices.

"F-Forget it! You guys don't even care about me anyways!"

Jungkook yelled.

Jin resisted Jungkook's attempts to get by them and enter his room, so he shoved Jin, which enraged Jin and caused Jin to slap Jungkook across the face.

Jin never hits any of them, especially if it was one of the maknae's, thus everyone was standing in disbelief.

Some tears escaped Jungkook's eyes as he remained frozen in place, stunned by what had occurred, he had not expected Jin to be the one slapping him someday.

While standing, Jungkook's dizziness returned. He struggled to fight it, but his knees gave out on him. He dropped to his knees.

his hands were placed on the floor trying to lift himself up, and his head was drooping low, shifting his eyes from the members to the ground.

The members' eyes widened as they saw Jungkook struggling to stand and stumbling to his knees. Hoseok hurriedly went to help Jungkook, but the maknae failed to stand again, causing Hoseok to fall along with him.

Jungkook leaned his head against Hoseok's chest. Hoseok was aware that Jungkook was fainting while in his arms, Hoseok hugged Jungkook tightly because he knew that Jungkook hated fainting and had always been terrified whenever it occurred.

Hoseok told Taehyung to get a water bottle for Jungkook. As Hoseok had predicted, Jungkook's eyes began to close completely. He felt the maknae slipping from control of his body. Hoseok continued to hug Jungkook and comfort him until Taehyung returned with the water.

Hoseok was able to get Jungkook to open his eyes by sprinkling some water on the maknae's scorching-hot face.

"Kookie.. Were you hiding your fever from us?"

Asked Hoseok as he combed through the maknae's damp hair using his finger, while furrowing his brow.

"Yes, Hyung."

Jungkook replied weakly as his vision blurred and he began to feel dizzy again.

"H-Hyung, I'm about to pass out once more"

Said Jungkook, who was once more tightly hugging Hoseok, his eyes closed and his body losing control.

Everyone was alarmed by his frequent fainting, and when he repeatedly passed out in Hoseok's arm, Jin's guilt over smacking their maknae minutes earlier was eating away at him.

Once Hoseok managed the matter once more, Jungkook awoke and looked up at the concerned members.

Jin made the decision to quit being useless and go get the maknae a thermometer to take his temperature, He returned a minute later with the thermometer and stood in awe as he saw the maknae's temperature.

"38 degrees Celsius"

Jin frowned as he said the maknae's temperature.

Jin told Namjoon to go get some paracetamol to give to the maknae, and when Namjoon returned, he handed it to Jin, who then delivered it to Jungkook.

Jin led Jungkook to his room after he had taken the medication.

"Hyung..?"

Jungkook stated

"Yes, kook,"

Jin replied.

"I love you,"

Jungkook said weakly, his eyes half closed.

"I love you too, Maknae,"

Jin said softly to the maknae.

Jin apologised to Jungkook and stroked his hair until the maknae fell asleep.

Jin sat on a chair in the maknae's shared room, softly stroking Jungkook's hair, rubbing his back in soothing motions, and occasionally checking his temperature with the back of his hand.

After a few hours, it was already dark.

Taehyung entered his and Jungkook's shared room, He noticed Jin sitting on the chair next to Jungkook, and promptly fell asleep with his hand on the maknae's back.

Taehyung grinned at the sight.

Soon, the other members arrived, softly smiling at the sight of them both. Namjoon approached Jin and gently shook his shoulder to wake him up.

Jin opened his eyes and looked at Namjoon.

"Let's go to our room, I'm sure you're tired," Namjoon said, smiling at Jin.

Jin checked the maknae's temperature one last time and noticed that his fever had gone away, he sighed in relief and left with Namjoon to their shared room, as did the other members, Taehyung and Jimin climbed onto Jungkook's bed and decided to sleep next to him for the night, leaving their own beds empty.

Jungkook felt the two sleeping next to him, he felt warm and safe as they both cuddled with him, he smiled to himself as he stared at the two before closing his eyes and drifting off, letting sleep take all over him and enjoyed the warmth of his members.
