As soon as I reached the town square the first thing I saw made my blood run cold it was The royal guards of the Slyvin family and immediately I ran looking for Raine all over the festival I asked a lot of people about having seen a tall feminine figure with raven hair and dark purple iris eyes around. When a group of men approached and told me that they had seen her going to the docks but they also told me they saw a tall dark male with raven black hair wearing a black mask approached her and immediately when I heard that I knew that Xiaver Slyvin the Grand Duke and Master of war and order found the imperial angle.
But as I was in deep thought about how to get Raine away from the young Duke's grasps someone tapped on my shoulder and when I looked I saw the Head Governor of Slyvia which was a surprise to me but as I was about to speak he told that he saw what was going on had a plan to Raine away from the Duke and transporting her to Slyvia safely and as he explained his plan I made note of it .
Author Pov
Plan:
I Would pretend to have fallen in the river and would be drowning as the Duke sees this he will act on instinct and dive in to save me as this happens the young governor would sneak behind Raine and cover her mouth and nose with a Drug that will make her unconscious for the next 19 hours and would swiftly carry her to the carriage and drive off to our Plan B of protecting her. And as he does this all I would flirt to further distract the Prince by flirting with him thus giving them time to sneak past the royal guards.
Governor: Are you sure you want to do this you could get killed by him or even worst and you didn't even say goodbye to her
Lilac: I know but she is a brave warrior deep down just when she reaches Slyvia help her with training and Perfecting her magic okay and remember she's sensitive please protect her your life.
" I promise I will protect this Angel with my life".
