Both drew their sword and ran at each other landing in a clash. "Don't hold back Hansuke, this is your Final Exam!" They stood in the clash locking each other's swords for what felt like an eternity. Without warning, Sasuke deflected his sword downwards and flipped forwards landing a strong kick to Han's abdomen pushing him back quite a bit. Hansuke was able to land on his feet but was quickly attacked again forcing him to dodge constantly, Sasuke wasn't giving him any breathing room. Neither of them said anything to the other, they didn't need to. Each blow they threw and dodged spoke for them, this wasn't family bonding time, this wasn't training in Konoha, and this was a test in more ways than one. Sasuke then stopped chasing Han and began to blow fireballs at him. At least now Han could finally throw out his own attack.

'Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu!' They both shot out a giant fireball at each other landing in another clash, but Sasuke still came after Hansuke. 'Spider Lightning!' Streams of lightning started crawling through the ground towards Hansuke, who was oblivious and got hit, causing him to fall to his knees and stop his jutsu, which in turn made him get hit by Sasuke's which exploded on impact and made him fly through the air and land on the ground hard. Everyone in the Monitor room was shocked at how ruthless Han's father was, no holding back, no remorse on his face. "Is he trying to kill the boy?!" Recovery girl shouted. "Not even slightly holding back against his son...! How cruel!" Iida shouted. Everyone else was thinking the same but still watched the fight.

Hansuke rolled over and got onto his knees, coughing from the impact and smoke around him. "You'll never pass like that Hansuke..." Not a moment later Hansuke could feel something approaching him quickly, he moved his head out of the way and a kunai flew by barely missing him. Then another, and another, once again Hansuke was on the defensive, forced to run and dodge without being able to send a shot back. "He won't give him any room to breathe out there...! And I thought we had it rough Kaminari..." "Yeah, no kidding... Han's barely able to dodge as it is, but at this rate, he won't even be able to escape, that's guys giving him no chance at all..." Both looked on with worry, and they weren't alone, All Might, Aizawa, Midnight, and even Nezu were concerned with how hard Sasuke was making Hansuke fight if one could even call it that.

Hansuke knew he had to make his own opening, that was something the others didn't understand, Sasuke wanted Hansuke to fight his way out of this, he didn't want Han to run and win by default like that. However, the boy wasn't naive to think he could actually beat his father who was on par with the Hokage, no, he just needed to prove he was strong enough to get away from this situation and get help. Hansuke dodged every shuriken, kunai, and other assorted weapons thrown his way, blocking any that would come a little too close for comfort. But as the time went down from thirty to twenty-five minutes, Han started noticing a pattern in his father's attacks. 'First is always a close-range attack, usually his sword. Then he attacks with fire jutsu, and last with throwables. My best chance to land a hit would be when he gets closer, I'll just have to be ready...!'

He waited until the onslaught of Kunai was over and saw his father dash in towards him again, Hansuke got ready and chakra started swarming over to his right hand, siphoning into his palm, but he kept it out of sight from his father, hiding it in his cloak. As Sasuke drew his sword once more, Hansuke followed suit and blocked like every other time, but when Sasuke's second attack was coming, Hansuke revealed his hand and slammed it into his father's back sending him flying through the air and giving Han a chance to make a run for it. But Hansuke didn't realize now that Sasuke was slowly pushing him against the wall with his attacks. He was now twice as far from the gate as before. 'Dammit, I was so focused on finding an opening that I didn't realize he was trying to corner me, I've gotta dash as fast as I can!'
