Mirror, Mirror continued to reflect,
What the Queen tried to deflect.
Only willing to see, what they wanted to see.
Pulling out hearts, to try to feel free.

They spoke their truth with blunt honesty,
Stirring the cauldron, constantly.
Getting lost in their emotions,
Poisoned words stirred into potions.

Speaking their mind, without thought,
Causing chaos, and distraught.
Pour poison on the apple, take a bite.
Not every word spoken is always right.

When that didn't work, they didn't feel better,
They claimed their word as law in a letter.
Enforcing their truth, to those near and far,
With no regard, their words leave a scar.

They wouldn't stop until skin white as snow,
Sunken eyes, blue lips, and nowhere to go.
A warning to all, a coffin made of glass,
To remind all, to fall or they will to pass.

The Queen held onto lies so strong,
It took time to unravel tales so long.
Their truth, wasn't all truth, as tears drop.
The heart trapped in the coffin didn't stop.

Genuine, and fierce, a beauty awoke,
Unafraid of the Queen, they spoke.
The loudest wasn't heard there,
But the one that sang sweet, and fair.
