[Unknown POV - A Few Months ago]

I exit the lift and walk into the Control Room, it's brick-and-mortar walls and wooden floorboards didn't really fit into the "Science Lab" vibes, but it was still better than that cursed hotel above us. I saw my friend, Janice, the head scientist watching through the glass window that covered one of the walls entirely. I walked up to her, she was still staring out of the window.

???: Hey, Jan, what's the matter?

She pointed towards something outside the room, it was viewing a massive chamber also made of brick, but with stone pillars embedded into the wall with massive arches at the apex. Below was a massive, dark metallic sphere with multiple pipes and miscellaneous machinery coming out from the top. She was pointing towards one of the electrical pipes that fed into the sphere, it was entirely destroyed.

???: How the hell did- I thought the conduits were on maximum power? How could he...

I stopped, noticing the lights flicker. The other scientists in the room noticed. Suddenly, a grumbling voice echoed throughout the complex.

????: I've waited long enough..

Suddenly, a large tentacle made of electricity bolts slashed the window and absolutely wrecked the room, I ducked, but then it grabbed me and...

...

[Narrator POV - Back to Present]

Y/N: 43... 44... Ah, here we are, Door 45

Y/N spoke a little too loudly, Ten was literally right next to them so it wasn't necessary.
It was a short hallway with 4 doors, two on each side. The door in front of them wasn't Door 46, it read "Power Grid"

Ten: Holy shit, it is real..

Ten was suptised, Y/N looked at them with concern for their language.

Ten: What? Never heard me swear before?

They both laughed before approaching the door. Y/N tried the handle, it wouldn't budge.

Y/N: Dammit, how are we going to get it open? Ten, you got any ideas? I got one, but it might not work out well...

Ten: We could use Rush, but we would have to..
Ten was cut off by Y/N finishing his sentence.

Y/N: ...Move some furniture around? Exactly my idea."

Y/N walked into the previous room and grabbed a shelf and pulled it into the next room. They flipped it on it's side (loudly) and shoved it through the door, and into the next room.

Ten: Uhh... I don't think i could be of assistance here...

Y/N: It's okay, plus i need you on the other side, ready to open the door on my command, Rush should come in the room. If his path is blocked, he will just continue, and into the door.

Ten gave a grin and hovered over to the window, staring out into the darkness, it appeared to be staring back- Wait, no that was just Window, he doesn't do much.

Window: I Seeeee yoooouuuu...

Ten: (mockingly) IIIII Doooon't caaaaarre

Thunder struck and Window disappeared. Ten looked back to see Y/N grunting while pulling a couch through the door.

{Timeskip - 8 minutes later)

The makeshift barrier was finished. It was made from tilted pieces of furniture and barricaded half of the hallway, so Rush would HAVE to go forward, no way around, no way above.

Y/N: Alright, Ten, open the door!

Ten opens the door, the lights flicker in the next room and Rush's screams could be heard as he grew closer and closer. Y/N hoped this wouldn't be the end as they enter the room and hide in a closet.
