(Characters: Sunny, Kel, Basil, Mari, Hero, Aubrey (All before Mari's death))
Ships: SUNTAN!!!! Mostly about that one picture (SEE ABOVE. I am unsure of their exact ages but whatever.)) Also RoseLilly/ HeroMari.
BTW: In this AU, Sunny thought that because Aubrey was a girl, and his friend, that he had a crush on her (He did not, it was just really close friendship.)
"Haha!!! Can't catch me!!"
"Give it back!!"
Kel runs circles around an exhausted Basil, laughing, all while playing keep away with Basil's camera.
Defeated, Basil plops on the grass. Knowing he won, Kel does a victory dance, and, because he's nice, gives the camera back to Basil.
Basil smiles slightly at Kel.
"Ooh! Sunny! Sunny Sunny Sunny!" Kel directs his attention to Sunny, bouncing around the smaller boy like a puppy.
Sunny found a small ladybug that perched on his nose. He looked confused and adorable.
-CLICK-
Basil had taken a picture of this. He handed it to Kel. Kel stashes the photo in his pocket.
"We should make flower crowns!!" Kel says, hopping from one foot to the other.
"Not a bad idea!" Hero laughs at Kel's undying excitement. Kel was a ball of pure energy, he could run around the whole world if he wanted.
"I think that would be fun!" Mari giggles, hugging Hero from behind. Kel scrunched his nose up slightly. He stuck his tongue out jokingly.
"Ick." He laughs. It had become a joke of Kel's to pretend to be grossed out by anything even slightly romantic. "Let's go Sunny."
"Sunny?"
Sunny was staring at Aubrey. Again. And he appeared to be lost in thought.
Kel felt something inside of him sound an alarm. He took Sunny by the hand and pulled him away.
"Huh?" Sunny is confusion.
"Why were you staring at Aubrey!" Kel pouts once they are a reasonable distance away.
"I think I might have a crush on her." Sunny mumbles,
Kel felt anger bubbling up inside of him, along with a knot in his throat.
"Oh." He looked down, unsure of what he was feeling exactly.
Sunny tugs at the grass, plucking clover.
Kel felt like he was about to cry. He had no idea why.
"Well uh... do you wanna make those flower crowns now?"
Sunny asks quietly.
"Oh. Yeah, sure."
