Chapter 1

New year pass, new class start, new attitude, everything new!

It's 3rd of January 2022, reopening of the school year. she's in her grade 12 now and her last year in high school too. Everyone is at the hall school where they start their first ceremony of the year in school reopening. Everything in the hall doesn't look familiar, same stage for teacher and principle to give a speech and same well-prepared seat for students to sit for the whole boring morning in the reopening day of school, except for the view around the place, she will never get enough on mesmerize the view here even though she has study here for 6 years now. The seat split in two big row, left the middle space for walk and she's sitting on the left side, not to mention she's also sit behind her junior, that's mean, she sit at the end of the row.

The reason because she's late for the opening ceremony about 5 minutes after it start. so here is the only available space for her plus people she knows is on the right side and she can't get there to sit with them. She looks here and there to see if her closest friend is in the same row with her but instead, she see some people she knows from last year but not her classmate. 'they must be sit Infront of the row.' she sigh hard and lean back to her chair as she hugs her bag and pout 'how came I'm late on the first day of school? Damn you, Melissa!'

She's to frustrated over the fact she doesn't get to sit with her friends that she doesn't aware of the boy walking toward her direction with a chair in his hand "i thought I'm the only one who late today." As he puts down the chair. She jolted on her seat and look at her left side. She sees the boy whom she getting annoyed by the most sit next to her. She frowns even more and groan in annoy.

The boy sit down and hugs his bag. "You think you're the only one who live in this world? You're to full of yourself, Jul!" She protest back at him. It's been 2 years now since she first study with him and she still couldn't get used to his presence. His presence always annoyed her and she doesn't know why, that's why she doesn't want to stay close to him anymore and since this is her last year in high school, either him, she hopes for all the best she doesn't get the same class with him again this year, she just wants her last year in high school to be peace, for god sake!

"As if I want to be late." Julian said.

"No one ask!" Melissa spat back.

Than, silence around them, only the voice on the background of people talking could be heard.

she shrugs her shoulder and focus on the big slide projector that show the history of the school and blah blah blah! More nonsense staff that she already discover since she first step in this school.

"Thank you all my lovely students for coming to the school ceremony this morning and start from today on, this is your new year in your new class. Please did well on study and keep up the good work. Welcome all new students and Welcome back to Mobile legend Academy!" Loud applause for the principle of the school, that's mean this is the end of morning ceremony now.

Melissa happily stands up and as she about to turn around to get out, Julian call out for her "mind if I tag along to cafeteria?" Julian ask as he also stands up and face her.

"No!" She replies with straight face, showing that she really doesn't like the idea. "Go to your friend." And walk away.

"Thank." Julian simply replies and follow her behind.

Melissa stop walking and turn to face him and raise her brows, "excuse me, sir, Didn't you heard what I just said?"

Julian stare back at her and just shurg his shoulder.
