Car rides are boring.

Siting in a closed space for five hours, with no towns in sight. It's boring .

I just wanna go back to my old town. Back to my old friends.

I'm not very good at the whole "friends" thing, I'm more of an introvert, not a people person.

Hour one...my parents are beyond excited about moving. And I...I'm not they say a change of scenery will be good for me.

Hour two...passing a small town, it's quaint but I'm glad we're moving to a suburb. I've gone through I've gone through about 17 maybe 20 panic! At the disco, and 21 pilots songs.

Hour three...I took a nap and wolk up at about 12:23p.m. My mom is listening to her old Elton John CDs, she's gone through 5 bags of chips.

Hour four...almost there one more hour I simply can't wait (sarcasm). I've been through almost all of my fall out boy albums. Almost there...

Hour five...so close. So very close to hell on earth, surrounded by people who I don't know.

We round the corner and I see our community, I've never actually seen the house before so my mom points it out. It's cute four bedrooms and three bathrooms, dad said it had a big backyard and a big kitchen. More room for my garden... I guess.

As we pull up to the house see a beautiful blue house ,maybe three houses down from ours. I wonder who lives there?

Dad pulls the car to a stop, and I get out. I stretch, my sore muscles practically creaking with stiffness. The moving van gets there three minutes later. And we proceed to unload it.

Everything one by one.

The couch, the refrigerator, all(or most of)my flowers. What happened to my orchids? They're all squished and broken! Gurr!

A few ours later, we finish unloading the last few things and the moving van drives off. I bring a box of hydrangeas to the backyard. As I walk back I notice the blue house again, but this one I notice a boy, about my age, in the top window of the beautiful house. And he was looking at me, I of all people have caught this guys attention?

I shake my head and keep walking, I must've looked like a clown.

I get to the backyard and put the box down and turn around to see my mom with three glasses of sweet tea with lemon wedges. Just how I like it. I give her a hug and tell her I'll drink it inside, and walk around the front.

There's still a few things in the drive way, like a crate of sunflowers and a living room chair. We should really bring those inside.

I get up to our front door and I close it behind me but not before seeing that guy from the big blue house, outside his front door looking at my house, forlorn.

I close the door all the way. I debate whether I should wave to him or not?

I quickly fling open the door and wave with my biggest smile. I close my door and sink to the floor...did I really just do that?

A few minutes later I hear a knocking on the door, one...two...three...four, I get up and open the door slowly.

I see a cute dude on the porch.

"H...hey", his voice is shaky,"I...I'm Garret and I live a little down the block and I think that your really pretty and I...wait no I mean...", I giggle a little then speak, "hello Garret I'm Audrey".

There's an almost twinkle in his eye...His amazing deep green eyes.

I tell him "it was nice to meet you",and he returns with,"likewise, see ya round"?. I nod and close the door. I smile like a dork.

I walk into the kitchen, dads putting away dishes, he asks me if I'm ill and feels my forehead as a joke. I tell him about what had went down. He just laughs and I plop onto the couch.

I sigh and I think to my self...Garret that is the coolest guy name I've ever heard!
