Summer...it never lasts. Ever.

No matter how hard you try to never sticks around long enough.

School will be starting in a week and I still need to write an application for a college.

I'm a senior this year.

That means from this year on it going to be full time job, wife, kids, mortgage, house hunting and...dun dun dun...cleaning.

I stayed in my bed for a good two hours this morning. Procrastinating as usual.until I finally decided it was time to get off my lazy ass and start writing this thing.

I get in my office chair (you know the kind with those little wheels on them) and spin over to my laptop.

I open up the top and put in my password.

Suddenly I hear a ding...I look at my email inbox...damn I have a lot of emails.

All from the school...weird.

I open the first email.

Garret,
We still have yet to receive a letter of enrollment. Or a letter of interest in any college or school after your senior year. The school board would appreciate it if you would turn it over to them by August 18th.
Principle Andrews.

I put my head down on the desk and sigh...I still don't know how to write this damn letter.

I look up out my window. I see Audrey...with my...sister. Maybe I should go down and say hi?

I walk down the stairs and walk over the sixth step...not this time stairs...I walk out the door, and look down the street. I look at Audrey and she looked back!

In that moments the colors got ten times brighter...and I saw blue birds flying around her.

I shake my head, and start walking to my sister.

When by some stroke of luck my eyes decide to forget that there are trees...trees with roots.

My body then decides to trip over one of those said roots, sending me sprawling onto my face...Love my life.

I stay laying on the concrete for a few minutes. Just long enough for my sage to fall on the ground laughing ,and for Audrey to cringe at my face plant.

I pick myself up and look at the ground beneath me...there's blood.

My nose...was bleeding. What the hell?

Not just a small drip as I've had before, this wouldn't stop.

I pinched the bridge of my nose and tilted my head back. I attempted to stand up, but to no avail. I was getting dizzy and felt faint...I tried again and fell over.

The world was flickering in and out black and color.

Sage ran to me with Audrey trailing behind. They must think something is wr...

The world went black.
