Chapter 14

••••••• Landon's P.O.V.••••
Charlene was still sleeping when I woke up,she is so beautiful. I slid my arm out from under her body and moved from the bed.
I walked over to the night stand and got the present out. I really hope she likes it. I got dressed I put on some basketball shorts and a t shirt that said "do it I dare you" on it.
I walked over to Wesley's room I heard moaning. I knocked well more like pounded on the door. "Wes that better not be Amanda and whoever it is needs to leave like now." I said
Soon enough a girl came out of Wesley's room. I just looked at him like "are you stupid?". I went downstairs and made breakfast for everyone. I made Charlene's extra special.
When the waffles were done I put them some strawberries and some orange juice on a tray and carried it back upstairs.
I put the food down,"Char baby I made breakfast for the best girlfriend in the world." I said
She opened her eyes "WAFFLES!" Charlene said as her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.
Charlene ate the waffles then I gave her the present. When she opened it she cried.
"Do you like it?" I questioned
"I love it." Charlene said as she hugged me. I put the necklace on her it said love. I had the other half,It said forever.
Charlene and I went for a walk to the park. It started to pour down rain. Charlene started to dance. She looked do beautiful. When she stopped spinning I kissed her. She jumped up and wrapped her legs around around my waist I carried her all the way home.
Charlene got changed then I went into the bathroom to get changed. When I came out she was in my hoodie.
"What do you think you are doing." I asked her
"well since you are my amazing boyfriend I get hoodie rights which means I get to wear your hoodies." she said with a smirk as she kissed my cheek.
She was going to walk out of the room. I grabbed her and spun her around. When I went to put her down she didn't let go of my neck,so I walked down stairs with her clinging onto my body.
We went to the lounge and we watched fault in our stars. Half way through the movie Charlene fell asleep. She began talking in her sleep she kept saying mine and Wesley's names along with Tommie's. before I could wake her my phone went off. It was her parents saying that they were home.
I woke Charlene up and told her she grew a smile from ear to ear. We went over to house when she saw her parents she began to cry.
They told her that her mom's illness was getting worse and that they were going to have to got to New York for about a month or two when they told her that her smile faded into a frown.
She introduced me to them. They were really amazing people. I felt really bad for them,they didn't deserve everything that has happened to them.
  After they left again Charlene went into her father's office and got out a whole bunch of papers.
When I came over I noticed what they were. They were bills that needed to be paid. She sat there for about twenty minutes. Writing checks and sending them to people.
Most of them were hospital bills. When I saw how many surgeries her mom has had I gasped. I noticed that Charlene had started to cry.
  She only cried when she got to her moms stuff. One bill read 9000$ amount paid 2500$ she opened her dads desk got out a box that had a key in it.
  She took the key walked over to her dad's safe and opened it there was a money stack she pulled it out. She counted out 4500$ she asked me to take her to her to the bank.
  Her aunt works there. She gave the money to her aunt and told her that was all she could pay right now. Her aunt pulled out the rest of the money.
Her aunt said she would give it to the people. Charlene went back to her house locked everything up. We then went back to my house. When we walked upstairs a girl was exiting Wesley's room.
  When Charlene noticed the girl her jaw dropped. The girl looked at her then hugged her Charlene hugged back. "Jesse." Charlene said
"The one an only." Jesse said. Charlene walked into Wesley's room. She smacked him in the chest. Since his chest was bear it left a mark. "You slept with my cousin you idiot." Charlene said.
"Yep and it was great."Wesley said.
"Ok ewww."Charlene said. When she walked back out of the room Jesse whispered "it was nice."
Charlene just ran down stairs ignoring her comment.
