Chapter 13

Landon ran into the lounge he opened the closet and got out a gun. He quietly walked upstairs. When he opened his bedroom door Charlene was gone.
He ran back downstairs. "Wes she's gone,and that medicine knocks her out."
Wesley quickly jumped from his seat "I'll go lock the doors you go look everywhere."
"Ok if either of us finds her take her into the lounge a lock the door." Wesley ran around the house locking doors grabbing a bat while he was at it.
Landon ran upstairs he heard muffled noises coming from his parents room. When he walked in there she was,on the bed. Kaiden standing over her.
"KAIDEN!" Landon shouted, Kaiden whipped his head around.
"Well,well isn't it the big bad boyfriend." He said walking towards Landon.
Charlene started to scream she was having another bad dream. Kaiden looked at her and smirked evilly. He walked back over to her. Kaiden grabbed Charlene's arm. Shaking her when she woke up she screamed.
Kaiden slapped her "shut up."
Landon ran and tackled him,the gun flying out of his hands when they fell.
Landon pinned Kaiden to the floor he punched Kaiden multiple times in the face."don't touch my girlfriend."
Kaiden punched Landon in his stomach,he toppled over. Kaiden tied Landon up to the bed post.
He dragged Charlene off the bed where Landon could see her. "Charlene you are the reason I'm here. I'm finally going to get what I wanted rather you liked it or not." Kaiden said bending down to her level
"No you won't I will never want you.your a murder and a psychopath." Charlene said as she spit in his face. Once again he slapped her with all the force he had.
"Leave her alone." Landon shouted. This caused Kaiden to kick him in the stomach. Kaiden walked into the closet to get something when Wesley snuck in the room. "Char he whispered."
"Get her out of here now." Landon said Wesley did as he was told he took her down to the lounge and locked the door.
Wesley ran back upstairs.He heard screaming through the door. "Where is she tell me now." Kaiden shouted he heard Landon gasp for air.
"Never." Landon said before it could go any further Wesley walked in. Kaiden didn't even notice it until he said "so who's gonna help the big bad boyfriend huh?"
"ME!" Wesley yelled,Kaiden turned around to Wesley punching him square in the nose.Kaiden fell to the ground his nose was gushing blood. There was no doubt that it was broken.
Landon got free he ran over to the gun. Kaiden said "what are you going to do kill me do it."
Landon smirked "no that will be to easy way to easy I'm going to let you rot in jail. With you knowing she is happy with someone else." Kaiden tried moving Landon shot him in the knee cap. Wesley called the cops.
The cops got there shortly. The arrested Kaiden for attempted kidnapping,not following a restraining order,and breaking and entering.
They checked Charlene out she was fine but they gave her an special inhaler to help with the attacks.
Landon walked into the lounge. Where Charlene had fallen asleep after they checked her out. Landon went over and scooped her up in his arms. Charlene put her arms around his neck and snuggled into his chest.
Charlene said still sleepy but with a scared voice"please don't leave me."
Landon looked down at her "Char I will always be here,now let's try and get some sleep."
Landon kissed Charlene on the forehead. "Goodnight my beautiful princess."
Landon looked at her face she had marks on her face. Landon got angry he ran down the stairs. "Wes keep an eye on Char I'm going out." Landon said as he walked out the door slamming it behind him.
Wes looked at the door "well ok then." he got up and went to his room.
Landon went to the gym he was pissed. He kept punching and punching the punching bag. He pictured Kaiden's face. He was so angry that he didn't notice that he had started to cry. They were tears of anger He couldn't believe that someone harmed his girl and he didn't do anything.
After he cooled down he went to the mall. He went to a little shop called Janie's. He bought a present for Charlene,then he left.
Charlene woke up screaming. Wesley ran into Landon's room. "Char it's okay he's not here he's gone he is not going to bother you anymore not when you have me and Landon." Wesley said. Wesley went to get up Charlene stopped him.
"Please don't leave I don't want to be alone." Charlene said with a pleading look in her eyes. Wesley sat back down. Charlene fell asleep on Wesley's shoulder. With her arms wrapped around Wesley.
About twenty minutes later Landon got home. He walked up to his room,he saw Charlene sleep on Wesley's shoulder he smiled.
"She woke up scared then wouldn't let me leave." Wesley explained.
"k thanks bro for helping me." Landon said as he hugged Wesley. Wesley nodded. Wesley traded spots with Landon. Charlene cuddled to Landon she mumbled "Landon?"
"Yeah baby I'm hear now." he kissed her head then he covered both of them up and fell asleep.
