Hayley was the typical 16-year-old girl from the Outer Banks. She was considered the Pouge Princess. She was untouchable. Her brother and JJ would fight off anyone who approached her. She occasionally drank and occasionally smoked. She surfed a lot and worked a lot. She was a server at the local country club. Her older brother by ten months (Her parents wasted no time getting back to it) John B. worked at the richest family in the town's boat dock. Her mother passed away when she was at the young age of three. Her father engrossed himself in his "work" aka treasure hunting. Her best friends were Pope, a smart talented mathlete. Kiara was a Firey force to be reckoned with and then JJ was a boy filled with happiness and jokes even though everything in his life was shit. He was her closest friend and childhood crush since third grade. Her brother was by far her best friend. She told him everything. Everything except her massive crush on his best friend. Her relationship with her dad was as good as a single father raising two teenagers can get. Her life was good. Then it wasn't.
Her dead disappeared at sea leaving her and her brother alone. She turned into a party girl. Drowning in pain, anger, and grief. She was an orphan. Everyone else was moving on, leaving her to sink. She turned to drugs and drinking to cope. Digging herself into an even deeper hole.
