This room had brightly coloured rainbows on the clean white walls and a light grey carpet on the floor that stretched over half of the building atleast.
I had been left in the room by myself, left to my own devices until Jack came back in and slammed the door behind him."Bullsh*t! I hate you all!"
I looked up and almost immediately, he grabs my hand and takes me toward the door, our fingers intertwined.
Jack yells and groans for about thirty seconds until I realise the door is locked.
I look over at Jack and he has tears in his eyes. Jack. Crying? What for?"Hey, hey.. Why are you crying?"
I am patient with him, and wait for a response while he gathers himself.
He walks over to a chair and sits down, leaning back comfortably and folding his arms like a child."They always do this.. Trap me in this room alone.. but.. Now you're here."
Me.. I am here.. with Jack and only because he asked me to be..
"I'm not alone anymore."I don't know what happened that day but Jack did something to me.. His words moved me and made me think.. Maybe he's not the worst. Maybe he wasn't even bad..
Without speaking I walk up to him and sit on his lap again, hugging him round the neck and slowly rubbing his back.
I didn't want Jack to be sad but this was the most I could do..Jack hugged me back and we sat for a minute.
It's so hard for me to comprehend these feelings..
I'm unsure as to whether I like Jack or not but I do know that I need to be here for him. I want to.
Whenever it might be, wherever I may go, I will be with you.That. I promise.
