Aarana 's pov
As soon as I entered my home i felt very something in my vagina i got to know i was having my periods so i quickly ran  into washroom and changed my clothes and wore some PJ's and put on a pad but i realized that i need to buy some more cuz the pack was empty. I saw the time it was 8 pm i quickly took my wallet and ran out to a cvs store to buy some pads .

As i was leaving the cvs store i saw chayoung sitting alone and drinking like it's her last day on earth  so i went to her and spoke " woah woah woah slow down tiger whats the occasion for a drinking competitionwith your liver "
Chayoung -" if you are coming from the plaza I bet you already know . My abuji sorry Mr. Hong must've told you and about my liver it has handled more " she said moving her hands dramatically on Mr Hong
Aarana- " chayoung I sometimes doubt if you both are actually 61 and 28 "

Chayoung - " Yahh that old man has started it he is going out of control on babel he doesn't know how cruel they can be . Aari why don't you talk to him convince him that he should leave babel case "

Aarana -" cha you know he won't listen when it comes to babel anyway now get up let's go to him both of us will try our best to emotionally blackmail him okk?

Chayoung - " no I won't go to that old man "

I grabbed the half empty can of beer from her and threw it in the bin I grabbed her by her arm as she whined like a baby

Aarana  -" come on let's go u little brat "

Chayoung " hold on let me grab my umbrella "

She opened her umbrella and we both made our way to hongmank restaurant bar it is not a big high class place just a small place with yellow lights and huge glass windows and door .

Time skip

As soon as we reached there we looked at each other with knitted brows . It was a surrounded by large crowd as we somehow made our way in the crowd we saw that a truck has barged into the resturant the yellow lights were gone and the glass windows were smashed that was not it as we looked further my blood turned cold my whole body stopped functioning there was a body lying in pool of blood  a little away I couldn't see the face but I knew that blue suit it belonged to Mr Hong he was wearing it when I saw him earlier  a little further i saw his glasses covered in blood broken . My instincts quickly hit me and I turned towards chayoung whose umbrella has slipped from her hands her face has turned white with absolutely 0 expressions I managed to hold her shoulders and cover us with an umbrella . I am blank I don't know what to do the man who was laughing with me a few moments ago was now lying lifeless . As I looked at chayoung's side I noticed a man standing in all black behind her a little away from us but before I could think about it more my attention went towards something else ' another body ' it was also lying with its face on the other side I think because of the sudden hit it went flying over there . Lump started forming in my throat as I saw something lying a little away from that body with blood on it  ' a black briefcase ' .

Aarana's pov

1 week it has been 1 week since that incident took place 5 days is what took me to process it and get through it the researcher who was helping Mr Hong on babel case and who was also going to be the victim of one of babel's experiments was also found dead near Han river . Everyone knows both Mr Hong and him were murdered bur again there is no proof that babel did it .Mr Hong's funeral was heartbreaking vincenzo is in coma doctors said he can wake up anytime soon . The jipuragi law firm 's door was covered with flowers and letters from geumga plaza people and some old clients . Chayoung she has handled herself she has decided to quit wusang and run her father's law firm and continue the case against babel . She suggested ke to quit babel and work with her but even if I want to I couldn't once my father finds out I'm jobless in another country in a second he would emotionally blackmail me to come back no matter how much he is proud of me but these days he has been constantly asking me to come back and handle family business . Also I've to pay her medical bills I can't risk it . I'll help them secretly as much ad I can .

As i stepped outside my office my phone beeped . It was a message from chayoung

Chayoung - Vincenzo woke up

Aarana - is he healthy or ....

Chayoung - better than ever he said he woke up last night but didn't tell me and heard all of my ranting IDIOT !!

Aarana - cha remember he might still be weak take care of him

Chayoung - Ok but if her asks me to back off from babel case then don't mind me stabbing him with my rabbit stick

Aarana - 👌

I turned off my phone and kept it in my pocket making my way towards hanseo's office before I could pull the door hanseo came out saying

Hanseo "  the parking lot in 2 minutes quick we need to leave for wusang "

I caught up with him

Aarana - " all of a sudden "
Hanseo - " Mr han said its urgent so let's go  no more talk"

It was just a normal meeting regarding RDU - 90 nothing to worry . Aa we stepped outside the meeting room I spotted Chayoung with cardboard box in her hand she might be taking her stuff . Before I could approach her Junwoo came running .
