Therianthropy is an identity of a nonhuman being on a NON PHYSICAL LEVEL. We do not believe we're animals, quadrobics and vocals are also not a part of therianthropy.
There are many misconceptions about therianthropy so I recommend watching Therian Territory and PD's videos, but first, CONNECTIONS DO NOT MEAN YOU ARE A THERIAN!! Being connected to an animal(s) means you're otherhearted/animalhearted. I used to think I was a squirrel therian but I was really confused about therianthropy then it turns out I'm just squirrelhearted and I found out I am Thylacoleo/Marsupial Lion instead :] also, past lives don't mean you're a therian, I also was confused if I was a spiritual hamster therian and spiritual camel therian or if I just had past lives of the hamster and camel, which those two are my past lives.
A difference between therians and otherhearted is that therians identify AS the animal and otherhearted is just a connection ofc, I think otherhearted identified WITH the animal but I forgot lol. (updated on 10/20/23 4:23 am)
