ARIEL'S POV

"Oh so you really feeling the nigga huh?" Derrico said as he laughed at her ranting

" you know for a fact if I'm around him then he really that nigga, you would like him" I said back with a sassy tone

"Shid I'm ready to meet em then" he replied as he looked down at his school work

"You willllllll" I said back with a high pitched singing voice as I walked out to go back to my room.

Derrico is Ariel's lil brother he was her best favorite person in the world. He's the funniest, most irritating, trustworthy person she know aside from Mya. They were only a year apart so they'd been stuck to each other like glue since they were toddlers. They thought just alike too so she was excited about him meeting Jayce already knowing that they'd get along so well. Even though she was the oldest she still needed his approval without a doubt.

She started to text Mya & Tamera to see what the girls had up for the day, Tamera told me to come over so I showered, got dressed & headed to her place.

"Bitch I got so much to tell youuuuu, so you remember that nigga that followed us home from the party? Well we been fw eachother since then & bitch I'm in love!" I said, clearly being delusional already

I went on telling her every detail of the time we've spent together as she hyped me up agreeing that he sounded perfect for me

I just couldn't tell her about the weirdness between Jamir tho, I couldn't tell anybody that....not even Derrico. I don't know wtf I'm thinking. I just know something is going on & I need to find out what it is. My mind kept going to him as I was listening to her ask me questions about Jayce....

Im definitely fucked

JAMIR'S POV

"How you feeling mama?" I asked. "Oh I'm fine baby, don't worry bout me too much" she said back resting in her reclining chair.

Jamir's mom has Kidney cancer, she's been dealing with this for about a year now. It has been so hard on Jamir, his mama is all he has. His Dad is somewhere out there but he ain't never met em before and he didn't plan on meeting him. What kinda Man leaves his Woman and child behind with no explanation?

He's been holding the house down while his mama couldn't work, it wasn't a problem to him cause he has plenty money but he still felt like he was carrying the weight of the world.

"I'll be here to take you to your appointment later iight mama" he said as he rubbed her hand

"Alright baby, be careful out there" she said back giving him a kiss on the cheek

He texted Jayce to see what he was doing today, he ain't really have shit to do. Jayce responded telling him to pull up on him.

He drove around the corner to Jayce's house to see that Trey was already there rolling up a backwood on the couch. He definitely needed a wood rn with all the shit on his mind.

"Y'all see what the GTB niggas posted yesterday? Niggas put yo name in a song" Trey said licking the wood.

"Ian even tryna listen to that shit, they gon lay when we see em" Jayce said back as he smacked his lips

I just nodded my head to what Jayce said, they already know ion do to much talking, when it's that time I'm onnat.

"Cuh im ready for this weekend, we gotta turn this performance UP!" Jayce said

"You know it brother" I said back dapping him up smiling. "I gotta go get me a new fit tho" I said looking down at my Dior shoes.

"Shidd let's hit the mall then brother" Trey chimed in on the convo as he inhaled smoked

"Ima text Ariel & see if ha ass wanna come, get her some lil shit" Jayce said as he scrolled on his phone

Immediately my head was gone. Just hearing her name had me feeling weird, like warm but nervous. Whenever I first saw her a nigga heart damn near stopped fr and at the studio I just ....idk, let me stop thinking bout the shit.

"She said her & her friends gon pull up in a minute" Jayce said with a slight smile as I just looked at him.

He must really be feeling her ass, this nigga smiling at his phone like a hoe

"3 man?" Trey said with an evil smile as Jayce started laughing.
