ARIEL'S POV

"You did what?!" Derrico said with wide eyes

"I know, I know, I know" I said sitting on Derricos bed criss cross applesauce with my hands over my face feeling ashamed. "..But nobody knows but you and..and it was sooo good"

"Ew, ion wanna hear that shit. What you going to do about the other nigga? James" He said with a scrunched up face in disgust

"His name is Jayce dickhead , and I don't know exactly..I didn't mean for this to happen..It just happened" pure shame and sadness coated her words.

How did shit get so complicated

"Damn sis, seems like you're torn between two people...look, you're the smartest person I know..but this was the dumbest shit you've done yet" he said with his eyebrows raised as he stated at her

"How would you feel if Jayce was secretly in love with Mya? Fucking her, taking her out, wishing you were more like her? I know you, you'd be in misery picking up the broken pieces of your heart off the floor ...so just make sure this shit doesn't blow up in your face or I'll have to kill me a nigga" he said with seriousness.

His words made me nauseous with the sudden realization of the pain I could cause Jayce. I have no choice but to end this situation with Jamir that had inevitable destruction written all over it.

All week I've been with Jayce, cherishing every single moment with him. We were at his place, luckily nobody was here today to distract us

"C'mere" he said dragging me in for a kiss making me giggle

"whatchu want for dinner?" I asked him.

"You pick" he said with a smirk as he put his hands in her curls

"Let's go to Publix so we can get the stuff" I said as we both got up, I threw on a my black bape hoodie and black Yeezy foam runners. Grabbing my purse and hopped into his car. Publix was about 15 minutes away but the way this nigga drives, it felt like 5.

We got our groceries and sped home listening to music. We decided to make baked ziti, one of my favorites. I loved all the quality time we've been spending, it takes my mind off of Jamir and I think it might be time to solidify our relationship to the next level.

JAMIR'S POV

"I threw down huh mama" she laughed

"yea baby it was so good" I couldn't help but smile.

I had cooked dinner for me and my mama using a recipe that she taught me in my teenage years.

I used to be in the streets a lot but the times I was indoors sometimes I'd be in the kitchen watching my mama make dinner so I picked up a lil sum sum over the years.

"You almost make that pot roast better than me, but I have a secret ingredient that even you don't know" she gave a hearty laugh before giving a dry cough.

"You okay mama?" I bent down beside her with concern on my face

"oh I'm fine baby gon on with your friends, where has Jayce and Trey been anyway? My boys haven't been to see me in a few weeks"she said with a sad expression on her face

"They good mama, I'm bouta head over to Jayce crib right now actually" I said putting my shoes on

"be safe out there baby and tell them I said hello" she replied as she picked up the dirty dishes, tossing them into the sink.

"iight mama I'll be back later" I gave her a kiss on the cheek as she gave a loving smile before heading out the door.

Few minutes later I pulled up to Jayce's house walking inside

"Wass poppin cuddy" Trey said dapping me up, "wass poppin" I said back

"whatchu on brother" he said scrolling on his phone

"not shit just taking care of moms, she was asking bout niggas" I said back "ima make sure to go see her soon, Nigga been getting to the money fr" he said in a sad tone

"you straight brother, where Jayce at tho" speak of the Devil he comes down the stairs followed by Ariel.

"Wassup brother" he dapped me up

"Where you been at bitch" he asks me

"I been with mama ,making moves , & staying out the way" he nodded his head with a smile and sat down on the couch.

I glanced at Ariel and caught her glancing at me back

I feel so calm when im in her presence most of the time but today just feels uneasy.

Back to the basics I guess

Did that night even mean anything to her?

Did she spend the night with this nigga?

His mind raced with confusion as he rubbed the back of his neck

"Bye y'all, I gotta go help my brother with his history paper, I'll see y'all tomorrow" she said before she put her head down and walked out of the door.

"What we finna get into" Trey said, and when Trey says those lines he's talking bout either opp hunting or bitches.

"I got some pussy on the way" Jayce said with a laugh causing me to eye him.

"I though you was in love bitch, wym you got pussy on the way?" I replied to his comment

"I mean yea I do fw ha ass, but she not letting me hit no matter how many nights we don spent together. She let me taste it but she playing a game at this point and I never been a nigga to play games" he said with a smug look on his face as Trey laughed at him

"Well try harder nigga, you ain't never met a nut you couldn't crack" Trey said in a playful tone

Jayce and Trey were very similar when it came to Women, they hardly ever genuinely cared about them.

15 minutes later the doorbell rang as Jayce quickly lets a short brown skinned female inside

"Hey" she says to us as she walked up the stairs, he smirks at us and follows her footsteps.

"Say brother I'm finna shake the spot, I'll see you toma" he dapped me up as I leave out the door ,mind racing , & zooming fast to my destination.

ARIEL'S POV

Laying across my brothers bed he sat beside me with his laptop in his lap, eyes furrowed with frustration.

"Okay so next, the people aboard the ship were not soldiers of the war, they were innocent citizens going across the Atlantic. These people had no reason to die as they were citizens of a neutral nation, however Germany's naval policy was to down any ship on site meaning nobody in the war zone was safe..." Derrico said aloud as he typed

"Yep you got it, I'm out of here bubbs " I said as I hopped off his bed and scurried to my room.

Calling "Mera 🤞🏽💕"

"Wyd sis" Ariel says
"Nothing girl laying with Tez"
"Y'all been fucking huh?" Ariel said laughing
"Girllll I love him, I'm glad we back together, I feel like I'm ready to settle down and be a wife" she laughed back
"Mhmmmmm okay girl, I feel like that with Jayce too, I don't wanna play around nomore, I think ima put it on him finally"
"Oooooooh yea you better do yo big one"
" and IS cause it's been building up since day one"
"Put it on em make him wanna marrrry me" she sang in her Rasheeda voice
"Girl get the fuck.." I said laughing "I'll talk to you later Mera love you bookie"
"Love you too bookie" before ending the call.
