Like Miranda thought now that they were back home, they went on as business as usual. She wasn't mad, she was just tired. She needed to accept that he did not want her romantically and it would never be more.

She saw Ben at work and home but they never really communicate. "So what's going on?" Callie asked in the cafeteria as she sat in front of her.

"I had sex with my fiancé. Multiple times and it was so good but now we are acting as if nothing happened."

"Dam while you all were snowed in?"

"Yeah, and I knew this was going to happen. It's like he has these walls built up. He's purposely trying not to like me or be with me."

"Make him want you Miranda."

"What!?"

"Just make him want you. I know that he does. I see the way he stares at you here. Be sexy. Come out with us for ladies' night. We are going to dress really sexy and go to a lounge. Don't tell him where you are going. Make him wonder. Come back home and pretend to be on phone talking about how much you enjoyed dinner...it will get him thinking, men like that move when they think someone else is moving in on "theirs." " Callie explained.

"Okay, I'm down." Miranda chuckled she honestly liked seeing him irritated.

Friday night came and Miranda dressed in a sexy dark green cut out one shoulder ruched bodycon dress. She paired it with silver heels and silver earrings.

Deciding to leave her engagement ring at home. She grabbed her purse and phone before walking out of her bedroom.

Miranda's heels clicked against the floor as she walked to the foyer.  "Where are you going?" Ben asked at the top of the stairs.

"Out." She replied turning to face him. He had on black pajamas.

"Out with the girls?"

"No, just out."

"With that on. Miranda, it's so short and like a second skin." Ben voiced looking her up and down.

"And you said that to say."

Irritation was rising the longer their conversation went on. He moved from the railing and walked down the stairs crossing his arm.

"Who are you going out with?"

"Ben it does not matter. It's not relevant and none of your business."

"It's none of my business but you're my fiancé."

"We are just business. Look I am going out. That does not require an integration. Don't wait up for me." Miranda pushed, opening the front door and walking out.

Miranda laughed as she got into her car. She looked at her phone as it rang and she saw Ben on the caller ID. She ignored him before backing out.

Ben paced the floor trying to control his anger. Who the hell was she seeing? Was it her ex-husband that she still cared about? Why would she go out with somebody else? He hated this. She looked so good in the dress and it wasn't for him. He was livid.

Miranda hung out with the girls and she actually had a good time. It was 2 am when she made it back home. She just wanted to crawl into bed and sleep. But first, she needed to drink water and a bc power to get in front of her hangover.

Miranda opened the front door and walked into the kitchen. She grabbed a glass and filled it up.

"Miranda." Ben voiced coming into the kitchen.

"Not now Benjamin."

"No, yes now, " He snapped. She turned and looked up at him. Ben grabbed her engagement ring and slammed it down on the counter.
