Ch 10:Shadows no longer

Back at New Theed, Raxus overlooks the city as he waits at the main HQ for any reports from his Mandalorian commanders. So far nothing has been heard.

"My lord." He heard a voice from behind which belongs to a woman officer.

"We received a transmission about ten minutes ago. It's from commander Vaus." She explains to him

"Put it through."

"Lord Raxus. We've only completed partial of the mission, the white Fang have been stopped, but they destroyed the controls to the train at breakpoint speed. You can have Xal explain it more in detail but we failed to keep the wall from breaching. I'm sorry but we request for reinforcements as soon as possible." The Message Nova sent explained before cuts off.

"So it begins." He simply says as he looks at his commanders.

"Admiral Xavier. Prepare my ship we need to leave now." He says to the imperial admiral as he nods in response before going.

"General Argo prepare the Legion all combat ready." He orders the Imperial General.

"At once sir."

"My lord?" A voice called out as he turns to see Krista come in with grey dress, showing her stomach.

"It's alright my love." He said in a comfort voice as he gives her a peck on the lips.
"I will be back. It's time to show ourselves."

"Show them your strength." She tells him with Determination.

"I will." He said with a smile as he walks as he had dark grin on his face.

"I Will."

He reaches the hanger as he sees many personnel moving as they load up weapons or getting the transports or fighters to get to the Star Destroyer. He reaches his Mandalorian shuttle as gets in and has the ship take off along with the fighters and transports that will join the fight as they all get in the Imperial Star Destroyer.

It's time for the Empire to strike.

-Back at Beacon Academy-

"I'm sure they're fine." Nora says to her friend.

"You think?" Pyrrha asks.

"Yea, Probably a butt dial..." Nora comments.

"Team RWBY has always performed exceptionally in the field. We should be focusing on our own mission." Ren explains.

"We're gonna be deputies!" Nora exclaims in excitement.

"Oh I know. I just got this feeling... I don't know." Pyrrha says in concern.

Suddenly, alarms ring out as they see the city up in smoke in the distance.

"We're changing our mission. Everyone on board! Take us to the city!" She orders the pilot as the team heads toward their Bullhead and takes off. Not far Mercury, Cinder, and Emerald watch nearby.

"You don't think..." Emerald said in surprise.

"Sure looks like it." Mercury corrects her.

"That's still days away!" Emerald said.

"So? What do we do?" He asks Cinder as she looks at the city.

The sounds of ringing in her ears as Ruby regains consciousness from the crash. She hears the sound of an emergency alarm blaring as her vision comes back with buildings into her view. Meaning they're inside Vale. She turns her head to the lower right and sees Blake and Yang, who also regains consciousness and slowly getting back up, her sister coughing as the dust settles. She turns her head again and sees Weiss sitting up against a large piece of debris, who also gives a thumbs up at her team leader signaling she's okay. She then looks forward to see boots in front of her as she looks up slowly to see it belongs to a Mysterious Armored warrior and two others. She was in awe for she not seen such armor before.
