Xuan lu and Yuchen was shocked to see Zhan. Jin Ling (4 years old) was in Yuchen's arms.

Zhan unconsciously hugged Xuan lu and started crying. Xuan lu was rubbing Zhan to comfort him. Yuchen went near the ward and saw his father's lifeless body. Tears fell from his eyes. Mr. Wei patted Yuchen's shoulder.

After sometime, Zhan parted from the hug.

Zhan, "Shijie! Da... Dad...l...left.....me".

Xuan lu, "Are you.....really....Xiao Zhan?"

Zhan noded.

Mr. Wei did arrangements for
Mr. Cao's funeral. Zhan and Yuchen was crying. Zhan fainted during the ceremony due to which Mr. Wei took him back home. At that time, Yibo came there. Luckily Zhan left before Yibo's arrival.

After the death ceremony, Yuchen and Xuan lu went to Wei mansion to stay for the night. Yibo told Xuan lu to come with to his apartment but Yuchen said that 'I have already arranged a place to stay for us to stay'. Xuan lu nodes at this. Yibo reluctantly agrees.

Zhan told Xuan lu and Yuchen everything. Yuchen asked for forgiveness from Zhan. Zhan turned his head to other side. He didn't talked with Yuchen at all. Jin Ling slept with Yuchen in other room, since Yuchen wanted to give Zhan and Xuan lu some time alone. Mr and Mrs. Wei also went to their rooms. They saw that Zhan looked happy with Xuan lu. Zhan had told them about Xuan lu that she's a very nice person and loves him like a little brother and that she and his mother belived him out of all the others.

Zhan was sitting on the bed beside Xuan lu.

Xuan lu, "a-Zhan! I knew from the start that you're innocent but no one believed. Specifically that stupid brother of mine. I'm still upset with him".

Zhan, "Shijie! Please don't tell anyone about my truth".

Xuan lu gave a reassuring smile to Zhan saying, "I won't. You have to punish Yibo in your own way....I'll always support you".

Zhan smiled and hugged Xuan lu.

Xuan lu, "a-Zhan! Can I ask you something?"

Zhan nod.

Xuan lu was hesitant first but then took a deep breath and said, "Do you...do you still....love.... Yibo?"

Zhan kept quiet for a while but then nod his head slowly, he was trying to suppress his tears.

Xuan lu felt really bad for Zhan.

Xuan lu, "a-Zhan! Let me tell you something. The thing is..... Zanilia have blood cancer. She doesn't have much days left".

Zhan, "So?"

Xuan lu bite her lips and shook her head saying, "Nothing". Zhan nod.

"a-Zhan! How should I tell you this that.... Yibo yearns for you. He has fallen deeply for you. He wants you back in his life. But.... Your happiness matters more than that. It's your life, you can choose whoever you want to. I just want you to be happy", Xuan lu thought.

Zhan, "Hmm.... I know... I can see love in Yibo's eyes for me but.... I'm not able to forgive Yibo. I.... I can't forget what he did. He didn't listened to me even once. He should suffer. He deserves to be punished for what he did to me".

Xuan lu looked at Zhan confusely, she asked, "Did I voiced out my thoughts?"

Zhan nod. Xuan lu, "I... I'm sorry... Please don't mind"..
