It only took 30 minutes for the Nyquil to kick in and at about the hour mark Tweek felt super out of it. He and Craig had decided to turn on some random movie to kill time, but Tweek was completely spaced out staring at the wall. He felt a gentle nudge from Craig and turned to look at him.
"Hm?"
"You feeling any better?
"A little."
"Spacey?" Craig asked, already knowing the answer.
"V- acK very."
"I get the same way when I take that stuff."
"It's like I'm too dro-drowsy to think, but too awake to sleep it off."
Craig nodded. "Maybe try and lay down." He suggested, scooting over to the edge of the bed so Tweek would have room to stretch his legs.
"Time?"
"11:15"
Tweek hesitated momentarily, but his body was screaming to lay down. He shot Craig a look of gratitude and slowly laid his head down on a pillow, curling his knees in to his chest. Craig scooted back to his original spot (maybe a little closer) seeing as Tweek wasn't planning on using up the extra space provided. After another ten minutes of the movie playing through Tweek found his eyes being glued on his friend rather than the tv screen. "Craig?"
"Hm?"
"Thank you."
"Don't mention it. It's honestly nothing."
"It's something t-to me." Tweek said seriously. Craig gave him a rare small smile and Tweek couldn't help but grin like a total dork. He sat up quickly and grabbed Craig's hand, looking deep into his eyes. "Thank. You." His vision blacked out almost instantly. Tweek had low iron and issues with light-headedness and brain fog WITHOUT being on extra strength nyquil. He didn't pass out per say. He did fall back and almost hit his head on the bed frame, but Craig caught him just in time.
"Woah there Tweekers are you okay?" Craig asked worriedly. His hand was cradling Tweek's head and he slowly tried to sit him up to help him readjust so he could lay back down properly. Tweek's vision was still very spotty and he felt very disoriented. He THOUGHT his reply was 'Yeah I'm okay.'. What he actually said was
"Mhm I love you." Well....it was more of a semi-coherent mumble than actual words, but Craig heard him loud and clear. He didn't respond. He COULDN'T respond. It was obviously just random words coming out of his sick friend's fogged up brain. He sighed and helped him lay down, putting a blanket over him. Tweek's body relaxed entirely and he crashed. Craig stared at his sleeping figure and whispered a quiet 'I love you too.'

Tweek woke up hours later to someone gently shaking him. He shot up and frantically looked around until his eyes landed on Craig. "Oh hey- ACK hey Craig." Tweek yawned and popped his neck.
"Hey." Craig said softly. Something about his demeanor was off, but Tweek couldn't place how.
"Everything okay?"
Craig nodded, but then shook his head. "You said something earlier."
Tweek immediately went into panic mode. What had he said?? He didn't remember saying anything bad. Did Craig hate him???
"Tweek I'm gay." Craig blurted out. Before he could stop himself he continued. "I'm gay and I think I'm in love with you. Earlier you said you loved me and I know you're sick and you were on meds, but I want to believe that you meant it and if I didn't tell you now I don't think I ever would and yeah."
The room was so quiet you could almost hear Tweek's racing heart. Craig's face filled with instant regret and without thinking, Tweek did the most un-Tweek-like thing he could've possibly done. He grabbed Craig's hands and quickly pressed his lips onto his. It wasn't a perfect kiss. It was slightly misaimed and hit more of Craig's upper lip than his actual mouth, but it was the most perfect thing either of them had ever experienced. When the kiss ended, Craig had the biggest smile he'd ever smiled on his face. Tweek had a matching one.
"Well Craig...I think I'm in love with you too."
