Y/N POV
(because you're amazing)

His steady breathing is so calming. It fills my head and washes away all of my worries. It's times like this I am appreciative of the life I have. Granted life has been a lot but he makes it so much easier. His laugh, his smile, his hair, his voice, and something so simple as his breathing. He is my happy place and I don't think anything can change that for me. I close my eyes and stop all of my thoughts so I can listen to his calm state.

I get startled when I hear movement from the other side of the phone. Tubbo groans ever so slightly.

"Y/N are you awake?" It's him again, his voice. He sounds so sleepy.

"Yessss and I definitely slept" I slipped out a small laugh in my horribly sleep deprived state.

"Y/N, you should sleep, you deserve to feel good and healthy." Tubbo sighs while somehow simultaneously yawning. It makes me smile. He's so sweet I wish I could hold onto him forever...

I yawn right after him "hmmm-no I'll be fine." My speech is kinda slurred. Maybe he's right. I smile with defeat.

I can hear him sigh once more but this time he laughed. He laughed. That laugh fills my heart and makes me smile. He could do anything and I swear I could just admire him.

"Bee, go to sleep!" He jokingly yells at me...with a new nickname? I love it.

"Bee? I love it. But no one tells me what to do I am an independent person. I will not bend at the will of another." I pause. "And plus I can't sleep I need to talk to you."

Again his laugh rings through my head, it's like a symphony that never seems to end. "Okay that was both funny and cute." He gasps softly and my eyes go wide. He called me cute!? "uhm no I didn't call you cute. Don't tell Tommy. He might kill me for being a simp"

I take a little bit to contain myself and not yell absolute nonsense towards him.

"Y/N?" I can hear the panic and confusion in tubbos voice.

"Sorry I got flustered I uhm I don't know what to say?? Thank you?" I've never been good at accepting complement, especially from the one person I'd die for...

"That's okay that is the best reaction bee." He laughs.

I scream with my mouth closed. That is not what I was expecting him to say :')
