Four Days After The Bite

Third Person POV:

In a stunned daze, Scott stares out to the now empty road in front of the school. Having just said goodbye to Allison. Having recognized her father as the leader of the hunters. And having realized his entire life is now an unmitigated disaster. He makes his way into the school. And into the locker rooms. Scott slowly drops his bag in front of his locker. The gloves fall to the floor next to it. He seems to be moving in a trance. He slowly turns, back against the locker, eyes staring in shock. Stiles leans his head out from the corner, along with Devin and Avery.

"You apologize to Allison?" Devin asks.

"Yeah." Scott said.

"So she's giving you a second chance?" Avery asked.

"Yeah." Scott said.

"Then everything's good?" Stiles asked.

"No." Scott said.

"No?" Stiles and Avery said.

"What do you mean No?" Devin asked.

"Remember the hunters? Her dad is one of them." Scott replied.

"Her dad?" Stiles said.

"Is one of the hunters." Scott said.

"Allison's father?" Devin said.

"Shot me. With a crossbow." Scott said.

"Allison's--" Avery was cut off.

"YES. HER FATHER!" Scott yells, he then snaps out of the daze and into a full on panic.

"Oh my God, what am I going to do?" Scott said.

"Okay, okay--did he recognize you?" Avery asked.

"No, I don't think so--" Scott was cut off.

"Does she know about him?" Devin asked.

"I--I don't know." Scott said.

"All right, okay, we'll figure it out. Just--just concentrate on practice. On lacrosse. Scott?" Stiles said.

"Lacrosse." Scott said, nodding.

And Stiles slams the door shut as he follows Scott out. With Devin and Avery following behind.

Players slam into each other during practice. Coach Finstock tosses the ball to the first player, Axel Donnovan Greenberg. But Jackson is on him in seconds, smashing his stick down on the poor kid's gloves, sending the ball flying out of the pocket.

"Nicely done, Jackson." Coach Finstock says he then signals his nephew over to him to talk. "Greenberg, Axel ,Axe, that was an okay display. I know you can do better, then that somewhat display of amateur ability. So go do a lap Kiddo." Coach Finstock said.

"Okay Uncle Bobby." Greenberg said.

As Greenberg takes off into a run, the next Player charges. A moment later he lands on the ground with a sickening thud. Scott, gazing off with far too many thoughts swirling in his head, doesn't notice the other players backing up behind him.

"McCall let's go!" Coach Finstock yells.

Scott snaps to attention, realizing he's at the head of the line, while Devin and Avery are near the end. Coach tosses the ball. Scott goes for the shot. But Jackson comes at him with a volley of slap checks.

"Watch the slashing, Jackson!" Coach Finstock said.

As the ball is knocked out of his grasp, Scott winces in pain. He cradles his forearm where Jackson's stick came down especially hard between glove and elbow pad. Devin and Avery noticed this.
